She might hate me. But I hate her more for the lies I have to tell.
Tempest, an all-new all-consuming dark enemies-to-lovers standalone romance from bestselling author Ketley Allison, is live now!
I shouldn’t want her. I shouldn’t crave her. She’s not safe — especially not from me.
I know the trouble that comes with people running from the shadows. I know the danger of getting involved with those who deal in secrets. I make those problems go away.
Hitman. Fixer. Whatever.
The biggest mistake I made was choosing to keep my little sister and her best friend, Ardyn Kaine, safe after their friend was murdered.
Ardyn is quiet, soft, and fragile. She spends her evenings studying in her dorm’s common room at the historic Titan Falls University — near where they once burned witches. They say the walls of TFU can talk, but I don’t believe in things I can’t see.
All the blood is on my hands, but Ardyn is the only thing that keeps me up at night. She might hate me. But I hate her more for the lies I have to tell.
One thing I know for certain — Ardyn isn’t safe from me.
I’m her nightmare.
Tempest is part of the Briarcliff and Winthorpe dark academia bully worlds, but it is not necessary to read any previous books. Tempest can be read as a complete standalone!

Isabel Bonetti –
One minute I’m mourning the sudden death of my father, and the next, I’m getting calls from a lawyer saying they needed to read me my father’s will. As far as I know, my father didn’t have much to leave. He was a blue-collar worker, through and through.
Or so I thought.
Everything topples down at once, the inheritance I’m left with and the truth about what my father did, but the biggest shock of all was finding out he’d married me off to a complete stranger without my consent.
By the time I show up at my supposed husband’s nightclub, I’m determined to leave with divorce papers signed, but nothing can prepare me for the man that awaits me on the other side of those doors.
Giovanni Masseria –
My father has done a lot of messed up stuff, but marrying me off to Charles Bonetti’s daughter, a complete stranger, may take the cake. I didn’t even know old Bonetti had a daughter and I want nothing to do with her or this marriage, until I’m told what staying married to her would mean for the empire I’m slowly trying to build. There’s no harm in staying married a little longer if it means I’ll cash out on those promises. I decide that I’ll cut ties with her as soon as that’s done.
That is, until she barges into my office demanding a divorce.
I wasn’t sure what I’d expected her to be like, but it certainly wasn’t . . . this.
A week ago, I didn’t know of her existence, and now, I can’t seem to escape her presence anywhere I go.
She doesn’t belong in this world and I know this won’t end well for either of us, but I can’t seem to stop reminding her who I am.

The last person I would ever expect to be waiting on the front porch for me in the middle of the night was Everly Higgins. To say I was both surprised and thrilled to see her would be an understatement. I hadn’t been able to stop thinking about her since we met last fall when my sister, Greer, fell in love with Everly’s brother, Hudson.
When I see her bruised up face, I instantly want to hurt someone. The problem is, Everly won’t tell me who hurt her or who she’s running from. The only thing she’ll tell me is that she needs a safe place to stay where no one can find her.
Being a cop, I have the urge to unravel this mystery, but the other side of me simply wants to protect Everly from whatever it is she’s running from.
But as the people she is hiding from catch up with her, I quickly discover there is nothing I wouldn’t do for Everly Higgins.
I’d even die for her.
Looking for You is book six in the Boggy Creek Valley series. It can be read as a stand alone, but for a better reading experience it is recommended to read the books in order.
Talk about a story that hits you with all of the feels. Looking for You is a suspenseful romance that will keep you on your toes and leave you breathless for more.
When we first meet up with Kyle and Everly, the sparks between them are instant. But due to Everly’s challenging job, she knows she can’t pursue anything with Kyle. A year has passed and for Kyle, Everly is the one that got away. So, when Kyle finds Everly on his porch one night, he was both surprised and thrilled to see her. That is until he discovers that someone has hurt Everly. Now, Kyle will do everything in his power to keep Everly safe and bring the people that hurt her to justice….
Looking for You took me by surprise in the best possible way. Kyle is the ultimate catch. I’m talking seriously swoon-worthy book boyfriend here. I mean, he is absolute perfection. All he wants to do is protect Everly, no matter the cost. This brings us to Everly. She has the biggest heart ever. She’s tough and independent. She doesn’t want to bring trouble around her family but knows that she can trust Kyle. Kyle was just what Everly needed in her life and I couldn’t get enough of the two of them together.
Looking for You had quite a different feel from the other books in the Boggy Creek Valley Series. I loved how suspenseful this book was. Kelly Elliott weaved quite the web of mystery that kept me on the edge of my seat, dying to know more. I really enjoyed all of the twists and turns and once you add in a steamy, hot romance, you just can’t go wrong.
Looking for You had everything I was looking for and then some. I was completely lost in Everly and Kyle’s story. I loved their connection, the chemistry, the sparks. As much as I wanted to savor it, I couldn’t help but devour their story. If you’re looking for a romantic suspense that will keep you on your toes but also swooning, Looking for You is just the book you’re looking for.

The dress’s zipper stubbornly stays put at the middle of my back. Screw it. I’ll ask the hostess to zip me up. I grab my stuff and leave the bathroom just as the outer office door opens and Josiah walks in. His glance skitters over me, starting with my hair and sliding to my bare toes. “Sorry. I didn’t realize you were in here,” he says. Josiah’s face is interesting enough to make handsome look mundane, though the man is undeniably fine. The kind of fine that makes you lose your train of thought mid sentence and bite your lip. Gorgeous dark skin gleams, pulled taut over the high sculpted bones of his face. To be so controlled, nearly austere, there is something boundless about his presence. Standing here with him, that energy, an amalgamation of ambition and audacity and swagger, swirls around us in the office. It’s like being corked into a bottle with a typhoon. His brows lift, querying. I’m staring. “Oh.” I turn my back to him, as much to recover my composure as to get my zipper up. “It’s stuck. Can ya help?” He doesn’t answer, and his steps are so quiet I barely hear him cross the room, so the heat of his body warming my exposed skin startles me. The backs of his fingers brush over my spine as he pulls the zipper. It doesn’t budge at first, so he has to tug. Even just that whisper of a touch reminds my skin how to goose-bump. I glance over my shoulder and up, my breath hitching when our eyes collide. The air around us practically crackles, charged with a familiar current I’d forgotten was even possible. He clears his throat and slides the zipper to the top. “There you go.” I turn to face him and am unprepared for how close he stands. I’m barefoot and my view narrows to the broad chest and shoulders of the man in front of me. We’re not alone like this often anymore, leading separate lives that only intersect at our kids and our business. Kassim and Deja are usually around, or staff, friends, coaches, teachers. It’s rarely just us. We used to know each other better than anyone. Now I’m not even sure what he watches in the little free time he has away from this place, or if he even watches TV at all. “Have you seen Ozark?” I ask. The thick line of his brows dips. “Nah. Should I?” “It’s one of the best shows I’ve seen in a really long time. The acting, directing. The writing is stellar.” I’m rambling. I want to shove a sock in my mouth to make it stop running. “I’ll have to, uh . . . check it out.” He glances at the door. “I need to get back.” “Yeah.” I reach into the bottom of my suit bag to grab my green heels, bending to slip them on. “I gotta go too.” He runs a thorough glance from my head to my shoes. “You look . . . nice.” “Nice?” I scoop up the suit bag, now stuffed with my clothes, and speed to the door, grinning over my shoulder. “Pfftt. I look amazing.” He shakes his head, allowing a small smile. “You look amazing. Have a good time.” “I’ll try not to be out too late. And don’t let the kids stay up all night, Si. They have school tomorrow.” “Like I’m the pushover parent.” We both know he is, so I just stare at him until his smile broadens to that startling brightness that will snatch your breath if you let it. “Get outta here. I’ll see you at the house.” The house. Not home. Not the dream home we worked for and fantasized about for years. Now it’s just the house where the kids and I live. Josiah’s in the same neighborhood, but a few streets over. I’m not sure why my thoughts keep revisiting the past tonight when my reflection, my mindset, everything has “future” written all over it.

Ruthless Sinner, an all-new, sizzling hot mafia romance from New York Times bestselling author Erika Wilde, is out now!
Dark, dangerous mafia soldiers like Marco Russo were made men, but luckily for me, they weren’t made for marriage. Which made my job of seducing him so much easier.
It was supposed to be a simple undercover operation. One that required me to work in a strip club in order to get close to Marco and do whatever it took to coax him to spill his family’s secrets. Our attraction was undeniable, so establishing a relationship with him was the easy part. Enticing him to share sensitive information took far more finesse.
But during all those steamy nights we shared I learned enough to take down his family. I also made the stupid mistake of falling for the enemy and now I was going to have to make a choice.
My head or my heart.
My job or my love.
My end or my beginning.
Because once Marco realized who I was and how I’d deceived him, he’d have a choice to make, as well.
To let me live . . . or to kill me to prove his loyalty to his family.
Marco was waiting when I stepped back out into the alley after work, only this time he was leaning against his motorcycle. Oh, my God. I knew he had one but we’d never ridden it together. My legs trembled, my body already getting hot at the thought of that machine between my thighs, molded to Marco’s back as we rode… “Nice ride,” I said, walking over and running a hand along the leather seat. “Where are we going?” “Just a little place I know,” Marco said, and tossed me a helmet. I put it on, and didn’t bother asking if he was going to wear one, because clearly he wasn’t. I shook my head. “Y’know, I can see why your dad worries about you.” Marco just smirked, swung his leg over the seat, and straddled the bike. “Hop on.” “I hope you’re not trying to impress me,” I warned him as I slid behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist, “because the opportunity to do that passed about a month ago.” That was a total lie. I was definitely impressed by the motorcycle and I was prepared to be impressed by whatever else he had planned, but there was no way I was going to let him know that. I didn’t want him to think I was easy. Even though it had already been a month and I could probably let myself relax by this point. Still, the thrum of arousal and anticipation that shot through me as he hit the throttle was unreal. I held on tightly and pressed my face to the back of his shoulder as we took off, out of the alley, onto the deserted late-night street. Wherever he was taking me, I knew I’d like it. For all his fancy toys, Marco didn’t like to make a big deal of things. He wasn’t about taking me out to a fancy restaurant. Instead he took me to his favorite random ice cream shop. I liked that. I was ready for the low-key thing he had planned. And in the meantime, I really loved pressing myself against him as we rode this motorcycle. I could feel his back muscles shifting and flexing underneath me, the firm feel of his abs against my hands as I kept my arms wrapped around him. When I rested my cheek against his back, his body sheltered me from the wind, so I could just watch the flurries of blurred light as we sped past buildings and out of the city. At last we stopped at a hilly park that was high up, and had a great view of the bay. Marco stopped the motorcycle and got off, offering me his hand. I looked around. “Why are we here?” Marco rubbed at the back of his neck, like he was nervous. Big bad Marco Russo, nervous? The idea was endearing. “This is one of the areas my family bought outside of the city,” he explained. “One of the ways we maintain our strength in the mafia and the legitimate business world is focusing on charity efforts. It gives us a good reputation with people, helps us with our public image. Vincent’s new wife, she’ll pick her own charities she wants to work with, where her focus is, but my mom was all about community outreach and the environment so she built a lot of parks. Like this one.” He gestured towards a sign I hadn’t noticed before. It dubbed the place Marco’s Park and below it had a few lines explaining who built the park and in what year. I looked at him in surprise. “This one’s yours?” “Yeah, we all have one. Mom liked to name them after people in her life. And I think she knew that we all needed a place to go and breathe. I don’t know if Vincent goes to his park a lot, but I like to come here when I need to get out of the city and just chill.” “But you love the city.” New York City was vibrant, pulsing with life, and so was Marco. “Most of the time.” Marco leaned back against his motorcycle and looked out over the city, its lights gleaming like so many fireflies. “But what I do for the family… I see the dirty side of the city. The grime, the blood, the ugly. Sometimes I gotta get out and take a few deep breaths away from it all.” “I understand,” I said softly. Working in the FBI wasn’t the glamorous catching of bad guys like you saw on television. A lot of the time I didn’t know if we were really the good guys or if there were only shades of gray. “Thank you for bringing me here.” Marco gave me a small, soft smile, and it tugged at my heart. “Who knew the bad boy with a motorcycle had such a soft side?” I added, trying to ignore that feeling in my chest and hoping to get myself back onto safer emotional ground. “Hey, I’ve got layers,” Marco protested with a smirk. “And you can’t say you don’t like the motorcycle. I saw your face light up when you saw it.” “Well,” I admitted, feeling there was no harm in telling him, “I’ve always had a bit of a thing for bad boys.” “Congratulations then, you hit the jackpot.” He winked at me.
