My Review

Shooting Scars picks up right where Sins & Needles left off. Ellie finds herself in a situation that she never expected to find herself in. Her past has finally caught up with her and now she must face the consequences. She finds herself trapped in a dangerous game with Javier.  She must help him commit a serious crime or Camden will pay the ultimate price. Will Ellie be able to stay ahead of the game or will she fall for Javier’s tricks??

Camden is reeling from Ellie’s sacrifice. He attempts to start his life over, but life has other plans. He discovers once again that people are not who they seem and there’s always a score to be settled. Camden decides to take a chance and try to save Ellie from Javier. He will soon learn the reality of life on the run and that when on the run, you will have to do things you never thought yourself capable of. Will Camden be able to save Ellie from Javier or will Ellie have already gone back to her old ways???

Let me just say WOW! Seriously, I didn’t know who was conning who or what their real motives were. Just when I thought I figured things out, I’d be thrown for a loop. I really enjoyed trying to figure this one out. There were so many great twists and turns. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going on. 

This book had everything I was looking for and more. There was so much drama, suspense, action and steamy moments. I didn’t even mind the love triangle. I do know who’s team I’m rooting for, but that’s my little secret.

“True love doesn’t have a sick desperation to it, and an undercurrent of doom. People who burn that brightly still get burned in the end”

I really enjoyed Shooting Scars. One thing I did learn, is that revenge can drive people to do crazy things. This book took me on one heck of a ride and I can’t wait to see how it’s all going to play out in the end!
