Hold Me Until Morning is the fourth story in the Time River series, and while this book is part of the series, I do believe it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel. That being said, for full series enjoyment, I highly recommend reading the previous books in this series first.
Hold Me Until Morning follows the story of Hailey and her sweet daughter, Maddie. Hailey moved to Time River in hopes of a fresh start. But, what she didn’t plan on was having Cody as her next-door neighbor. Everything about Cody screams “Stay Away”!! But, staying away proves so much harder than Hailey ever expected.
Hold Me Until Morning is a fantastic addition to the Time River series. I loved Hailey’s spunky attitude and independence. She desperately wanted to stand on her own two feet and not depend on anyone. She wasn’t looking for love and definitely wasn’t expecting to find it in Playboy, Cody. And well, there is definitely more to Cody than meets the eye. I can say with 100% certainty there is more to this guy than meets the eye. With their fair share of demons and a past that refuses to stay away, I found myself completely glued to the pages in anticipation of how this story would play out.
One thing I can always count on when it comes to a romance by A.L. Jackson is that she doesn’t let them have their happily ever after easily. She pulls you slowly into the character’s story with her lyrical writing and consuming storytelling. She waits until she knows she’s got you hooked and makes her characters fight for the love and/or second chance they deserve. She absolutely slays readers and Hold Me Until Tomorrow is no exception.
Hold Me Until Morning is another unforgettable romance from a truly talented author. If you’re a fan of spellbinding and all-consuming romance, you won’t want to miss Hold Me Until Morning, a sexy and thrilling small-town single-parent romance.
