My 2019 Reading Challenge

Posted on

It’s that time of year again! As you know, there is nothing more that I love then challenging myself when it comes to the books I read. Whether it’s a new author, series, a genre that takes me out of my comfort zone or being able to tackle some books that have been on my tbr for far too long; I live for a good reading challenge. In 2018, I stepped up my game not only with the books that I read, but also by reading 2 books that I already owned per month. It was hard. It was fun. It was a great challenge. And I’m happy to report that I finished my challenge.

For 2019’s Reading Challenge, I really wanted to once again challenge myself and kick my never ending to-read list’s butt!! And I am more than ready for the challenge.

There is nothing I love more when reading than challenging myself; whether it’s a new genre, author, or checking books off my never ending tbr. Last year, I challenged myself with reading more Historical Romance & Fiction as well as reading at least one book per month that I already own. It was fun. It was hard. It was definitely a challenge. But, I finished and couldn’t be happier!

Amy’s 2017 Reading Challenge

With 2017 rapidly approaching, it’s time to start thinking of how I want to challenge myself reading wise. Last year was the first year, I attempted an actual ‘Reading Challenge’. For the most part, I think I did pretty well. I only missed my challenge by 4 books. This year, I want to do better. I want to actually hit my goal and it wouldn’t hurt to make a dent in my never ending tbr either 😉 So, after a lot of thought and planning, I decided that I want this list to be challenging, but also a list that is realistic and one that I’ll be able to stick to….
