Review: Bright and Deadly Things by Lexie Elliott

Review: Bright and Deadly Things by Lexie Elliott

A remote back-to-basics mountaintop retreat in the French Alps turns deadly as an Oxford fellow finds herself in the crosshairs of her late husband’s dangerous secrets.

The Chalet des Anglais should be the ideal locale for recently-widowed Oxford don Emily to begin cutting through the fog of her grief. With no electricity, running water, or access by car, the rustic chalet nestled at the foot of the verdant, snow-topped Alps should afford Emily both time and space to heal. Joining her will be a collection of friends from the university, as well as other fellows, graduates, and undergraduates.

Something feels off, though—heightening Emily’s existing grief-induced anxiety. Before even making it to the airport, she’s unnerved by a break-in at her home. Once at the chalet, tension amongst the guests is palpable. Her friends and colleagues are behaving oddly, and competition for a newly opened position has introduced a streak of meanness into the otherwise relaxing getaway. As hostilities grow, Emily begins to wonder if the chalet’s dark history has cast a shadow over the retreat. In the salon, a curious grandfather clock looms, the only piece of furniture to survive a deadly blaze a century ago. As its discordant bell begins to invade everyone’s dreams, someone very real has been searching through Emily’s things and attempting to hack into her computer.

When a student disappears, Emily realizes that she’d better separate friend from foe, and real from imagined—or the next disappearance may be her own.

MY REVIEW

A remote back-to-basics mountaintop retreat in the French Alps turns deadly as an Oxford fellow finds herself in the crosshairs of her late husband’s dangerous secrets. With a line like that, how can one not be intrigued?

Bright and Deadly Things is quite the departure from my normal reads and I couldn’t have been happier to check this book out. When we first meet up with Emily, she is recently widowed and is trying to find her way through her grief. Desperately needing time and space to heal, she finds herself at a retreat in the French Alps with a collection of friends from the university. Almost immediately, something feels off. A series of events fills her with anxiety and leaves her with a ton of burning questions. But, when a student disappears, Email realizes you must separate friend from foe and she might be next…

Overall, I thought this book was a really interesting read. I was intrigued from the moment I picked this book up and couldn’t wait to read more. I thought the plot was clever and enjoyed the odd characters. I thought the author did a great job weaving a web of mystery and suspense, keeping readers on their toes. My only issue with this story was the pacing. Pacing can be a bit of a double-edged sword for me personally. I don’t necessarily mind a slower pace, but the pacing in this story was a bit off for me, and I definitely found it to be a distraction.

All in all, Bright and Deadly Things is an interesting mystery that I couldn’t wait to uncover. Lexie Elliott is a new author to me and I look forward to discovering more from her in the future.

Review: Providence by Caroline Kepnes

Posted on

From the acclaimed author of YOU comes a novel that is part love story, part detective story, and part supernatural thriller.

Growing up as best friends in small-town New Hampshire, Jon and Chloe are the only ones who truly understand each other and their intense connection. But just when Jon is ready to confess the depth of his feelings, he’s kidnapped by his substitute teacher, a discredited scientist who is obsessed with H.P. Lovecraft and has a plot to save humanity.

After four years in captivity, Jon finally escapes, only to discover that he now has an uncontrollable power that endangers anyone he has intense feelings for. He runs away to Providence to protect Chloe while he searches for answers. Across town from Jon, Detective Charles “Eggs” DeBenedictus is fascinated by a series of strange deaths–young, healthy people whose hearts just . . . stop. Convinced these deaths are a series of connected, vigilante killings, he jeopardizes his job and already strained marriage to uncover the truth.

With heart, insight, and a keen eye on human frailty, Kepnes whisks us on a journey through New England and crashes these characters’ lives together in the most unexpected ways, exploring the complex relationship between the powerful and the powerless, love and identity, self-preservation and self-destruction, and how the lines are often blurred between the two.

My Review

For me, Providence was one of my most anticipated reads of 2018. There was so much pre-release buzz surrounding it and I’ve been dying to read something by this author, so I took the leap and dove into Providence.

Jon and Chloe were the best of friends. They understood one another in ways that no one else seemed to get. They shared an intense connection. However, on the day that Jon is supposed to confess his true feelings for Chloe, he goes missing. I was so intrigued by this. I was dying to know more. I needed answers. I wanted to know what happened with Jon….4 years later, Jon finally returns home, but life has changed a lot in the time that he was away. He is convinced that if he can change himself; get better, he can finally have what he’s always wanted with Chloe…In addition to Jon and Chloe’s storyline, we also have the one of Detective Eggs. Eggs has been consumed by a string of deaths and will stop at nothing to solve the case. How can people who are healthy just have their hearts stop beating? Eggs is convinced that all of these murders are connected and will risk everything to find out the truth….

I’m going to be 100% honest with you. I wanted so much to love this book. I really did. But, it just didn’t work for me. I was really intrigued by the story in the beginning. I wanted to know what happened to Jon and couldn’t wait to see where the story would go once he returned. That intrigue lasted about 25-30% into the story. After that I just felt confused and lost. This book has a heavy H.P. Lovecraft presence and that was just totally lost on me. I’ve never read anything by Lovecraft, so all of those references were over my head. I Am Providence and The Dunwich Horror were seriously huge themes throughout the book and they just left me with a giant question mark over my head. Maybe if I had a better understanding of HP Lovecraft and those stories, this story might of clicked for me, but it just didn’t.

Providence is one of those books that you’re either going to get or you’re gonna be left in the dark, like I was. It’s going to be a hit for some and a miss for others. From mystery and suspense to supernatural themes, this book certainly had a lot going on. I think this author is a very unique story-telling and has a great writing style. Even though this book was a total miss for me, I’m still glad that I gave it chance and checked it out.

JED HAD TO DIE COVER REVEAL

NEW ROMANTIC COMEDY/MYSTERY from Tara Sivec

Releasing November 1st 2016 (ebook, paperback, and audible)

JedHadToDieEcover

Blurb:

The happiest day of Payton Lambert’s life was the day she graduated high school and watched Bald Knob, Kentucky get smaller and smaller in her rearview mirror. She wanted more for her life than a tiny town where everyone knows your business and you can’t find a decent cup of coffee for at least forty miles. Twelve years later, an unexpected phone call in the middle of the night has her packing up her life in Chicago and racing back home to the one person she ever regretted leaving behind.

Wait, one person?? Make that two. When the hell did Leo Hudson become sheriff of Bald Knob and get so hot? The scrawny Future Farmer of America who followed Payton around like a puppy and could recite cow insemination facts in his sleep is long gone. Leo is still hot on her heels, but now he’s wearing a badge and dead set on solving a murder that may or may not involve Payton…along with half the town.

You steal a few wine coolers in high school and make one little comment about cutting off a man’s balls when you come home, and suddenly, you’re suspected of killing him.

In a town where the biggest crime happened the day Jethro Snell kicked a few of his cows (an honest mistake when you’ve had a few jars of homemade moonshine), people are pointing fingers, rumors are spreading like wildfire, and Payton swears she’s only making out with the sweet-talking, studly sheriff to distract him from the secrets she’s keeping.

When you’ve been tased, peed on by a yippy dog named Bo Janges, and can’t stop picturing what Sheriff Hudson looks like naked, it will be a tough job making everyone agree that…Jed had to die.

Review: Into The Light by Aleatha Romig

Posted on

intothelight

Sara Adams awakes blind, unable to remember the most basic details of her life, but her darkness seems a blessing when she discovers the terrors of The Light.

Stella Montgomery investigates the news from the mean streets of Detroit, where she’s noticed a disturbing trend: young women are vanishing. When her best friend disappears, Stella digs for answers—despite warnings from her police detective boyfriend—following a twisted trail that leads her through the city’s most dangerous and forsaken precincts. There she uncovers something more sinister than she could have imagined: a shadowy organization known as The Light, led by the enigmatic Father Gabriel.

As Sara struggles to understand her place in the strange world she’s awakened to—an oppressive cult demanding unquestioning obedience—and her feelings for Jacob, the husband she can’t recall and whose harsh and tender attentions confuse and beguile her, Stella risks all to discover the truth. But enlightenment always comes with a price.…

My Review

When I picked up Into the Light, I went into it not knowing anything about it, other than the synopsis. All I knew was that I was going to go for one crazy ride. And true to Aleatha Romig fashion, she did not disappoint. What I got with Into the Light was a story unlike anything I’ve read before.

Into the Light is well written and intriguing with complex characters that are demanding their story be told. This story is told from dual points of view and is the total package. It has everything from mystery to suspense to romance and shocking twists and turns. This story will have you glued to the pages as you try to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. And in the end, you will be left with one crazy, shocking, give me the next book now cliffhanger.

All I can say is, Be ready! This story is going to take you for one heck of a ride!

Blog Tour with Review: Set The Pace (The Detroit Love Duet #1) by Kim Karr

Set the Pace BT Banner

Set the pace FOR WEB

Every city needs a hero, but Detroit’s white knight just might be a villain.

A rough childhood branded Jasper Storm trouble. A bad boy. Not worth a damn. His love of cars was the only thing that could battle his delinquency. With the need for speed in his blood, he overcame his wayward ways. Mostly. All grown up, the broken city of Detroit hails him their shining star. And the man behind a new cutting-edge automobile is ready to turn this bankrupt town around.

Everything he does in life is fast. He talks fast, f*cks fast, and drives fast. But when one reckless turn brings him face-to-face with the childhood he has tried very hard to forget, he finds himself on the edge of wondering if he shouldn’t slow down.

Charlotte Lane was the tomboy who lived next door. She was his best friend. He was her protector. Then tragedy struck and she disappeared, forever—or so he thought.

Jasper has many reasons to hate Charlotte and keep his distance, but she’s infiltrating his every thought and he can’t stay away. Back in town with an agenda of her own, she should push him aside. Make him turn around. Walk away herself. Yet she can’t.

With the past lurking between them, they proceed with caution. That is until one sex-filled night leads to murder. When Detroit’s biggest ally suddenly becomes suspect number one, will Charlotte—the girl Jasper once kept safe—be the one to save him?

STP - White Knight - Dual (1)

My Review

“Truth and lies. Past, present, and future. I’d laid it all out under the sun and the sky, and it turned out just the way I knew it would. There never was any other way, though. That….I’d known all along.”

Set The Pace is an exciting and thrilling new novel by author Kim Karr. This book will have you on the edge of your seat and will leave you breathless.

Set The Pace is told from dual points of view and follows the story of Charlotte and Jasper. Once upon a time Charlotte and Jasper were best friends. They did everything together…That is until one day, tragedy strikes and the two of them are separated. Both of their lives were forever changed. Many years later, the two of them are reunited. Jasper is not at all happy to see Charlotte. In fact, he hates her just as much as everyone else in the town does. However, things are not as they seem. As much as Jasper wants to avoid Charlotte, that is not possible. He is drawn to her like a moth to a flame. And when Charlotte reveals something to Jasper, everything he thought he knew will come into question. As if that wasn’t enough to deal with, there’s also a murder that needs to be solved and all the fingers are pointing in the wrong direction. Will these two ex-friends be able to move past their past and move on to something more? Will Charlotte be able to uncover the truth, she so desperately seeks? Will Charlotte and Jasper be able to solve the murder before it’s too late??

Set The Pace pulled me in from the very first page. From the moment I read that prologue, I knew this was going to be a great story. What may seem to start out as your normal ex-friends/enemies to lovers story, quickly changes it’s direction. Yes, it still is that type of romance, but now you’ve got an interesting twist thrown in and I gotta say, I wasn’t expecting the direction that this story took. And let me tell you, that direction really kept me on my toes. I didn’t know who to trust or who was telling the truth. There was sex, lies, and danger around every corner. And just when you think you’ve got a handle on what’s going on, BOOM, you get thrown another twist. And that twist at the very end, took my breath away. I can not wait to see what will happen next.

Set the Pace

Excerpt

Charlotte Lane

Buzz. Buzz.

Startled, I jump and quickly place the frame back in its place.

Buzz. Buzz.

It’s the call button from the lobby. I’m not sure what to do. I should probably ask Jasper if he is expecting anyone before I let whomever it is up.

The hallway he disappeared down is fairly long and at the end are two doors. Both are slightly ajar. I can hear the shower running and music playing. I try to place the song. Just as I go to knock, I pause, and then grin, it’s Led Zeppelin—the same music that used to blare from his garage when he was out there with his father.

Somehow in my absentminded quandary, my fingertips have nudged the door open just enough that I can see inside the bathroom. Perfectly. In my direct line of sight is a huge glass wall and he is just beyond it.

My pulse is beating so hard I can feel it pounding at all my pulse points. I should leave. I don’t need to bother Jasper. Whoever it is buzzing to come up can just come back later. Yet, I can’t move. Or maybe it’s more like I don’t want to move.

Steam hovers in the air but there’s not nearly enough to obscure anything. And there he is, naked in the water, head bent as it sluices over him. His eyes are closed. One hand is on the wall. The other slides slowly down his belly and lands between his thighs.

Oh, God.

Now I really can’t move. I’m frozen in place. His hand is on his cock. I swallow the noise my throat tries to make, but I’m sure I don’t do a good job of it. Thank you, Jesus, he doesn’t seem to notice. No, he definitely doesn’t notice because oh, my God, now he’s stroking himself. Slowly. Deliciously. Up, then down, and a twist of his palm around the head of his cock.

I shouldn’t be watching this, and yet I can’t look away. This is private. For him only, and yet I have to wonder if it’s because of me. Is it his attraction to me that made him step back just moments ago? Made him have to relieve the desire he was feeling? Then why did he say he wouldn’t kiss me again?

When he moves his wrist faster, I have to stifle my sudden harsh breath with my hand. My eyes are glued to his body and although I should leave, I can’t. I just can’t. Jasper, doing this to himself, is the most erotic thing I’ve ever seen in my life. The only thing stopping me from reaching between my own legs is my perverted fascination with wanting to watch him come. Oh, and of course the terror of getting caught.

His mouth opens, water filling it and overflowing when he tips his face into the spray. I want so much to be in there with him, share the water, and feel that mouth on my body, but I’m not sure that’s ever going to happen. We seem to be dancing around the attraction we feel for each other. Like both of us are afraid to take that leap from a two-decade-old friendship to intimacy. Afraid perhaps of where it might lead, or maybe where it won’t.

I can’t be sure.

Then again, it could be that the ghosts that accompany us are just too strong to bear.

Soon he’s fucking into his fist with a deliberation that makes me weak at the knees, and I watch. I watch the way his muscles cord in his arms, the way his cock moves within the confines of his fist, the way his face contorts into pure pleasure.

Looking at Jasper, watching him about to come, it opens up something within me. The feeling is hard to describe and I can only think of one word that is fitting—primal.

His cock disappears inside his curled fingers and this stroke seems somehow more determined. Up, down, a twist around his crown, and then another twist. This time his head dips down, and then lowers still.

I press my thighs together to ward off the ache of arousal that is flooding me. I can’t hear him, but I wish I could. I know what he’s feeling, though, because I can see his mouth open and his face contort with satisfaction. He’s close. I can tell. And then soon enough, his taut belly strains, the muscles in his legs bunch, and then it happens—his desire jets out.

Never in my life have I wanted to make myself come like I do right in this moment. No, that’s not true. Never in my life have I wished for a man to take me the way I wish for Jasper to take me right now. Still, this is all kinds of wrong. I shouldn’t have watched him. I know this. Chiding myself, I lick salt from my upper lip and slowly, cautiously take a step back.

“Is there a show going on that I wasn’t invited to?”

That voice. I know that voice. The cynicism behind the tone.

Oh, God.

No. No. No.

Review: Tied Bond (Holly Woods Files #4) by Emma Hart

tiedbond

Holly Woods is going to hell in a handbasket—but this time, Satanists aren’t to blame. Halloween is.

Nonna doesn’t understand why there are skeletons and demons everywhere. Mom is threatening to stitch a devil into Nonna’s pillowcase if she doesn’t shut up. Bek is bumbling over a date with Jason, the handsome FBI agent who conveniently got himself relocated to Austin, and I… Well. I’m considering running away to a town without the crazies.

Nothing new here.

Everything is going smoothly—too smoothly—and I can’t shake the feeling that something is about to happen. Drake insists I’m being paranoid… But when a body turns up at the Holly Woods Halloween party, we have a whole lot more than a murderer to worry about.

Because the prime suspect is his mom.

And it’s my job to prove she’s innocent.

My Review

“I know I tease him about it a lot, but it really is one of my favorite things about him. The strong, protective side of him that roars any time I come within a sniffing distance of danger is one of the parts I love about him most….Especially since he hasn’t yelled at me yet. It could totally change when we get back to my place, because I can practically feel the anger buzzing inside him, but you know. For now, I like that.”

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I just can’t get enough of this series. It is literally like getting to watch my favorite tv show, but instead, I get to hold the story in my hands. With each new installment, I can’t help but burn through the pages to see just what trouble or situation Noelle will find herself in next.

From the moment you pick up Tied Bond, you are drawn into the story and won’t be able to put it down. When we meet up with Drake and Noelle, things are in a bit of chaos. Nonna and mom are fighting. Bek is stressing over a date with Jason. And everything that can go wrong does, especially when a dead body shows up at a Halloween party. To make matters worse, the prime suspect is Drake’s mom. So, now the question is, will Noelle be able to solve the crime and set Drake’s mother free??

Tied Bond is a fantastic addition to the Holly Woods Files series. It is entertaining and their certainly is never a dull moment. It’s got the perfect balance of action, suspense, drama and romance. Emma Hart has once again provided me with a fabulous story, and I for one can’t wait to see what hot water Noelle will land herself in next. Fans of this series, you will not be disappointed.

Review: Target on Our Backs (Monster In His Eyes #3) by J.M. Darhower

targetonourback

The best way to keep your word is never to give it.

Not long ago, in a chapel in Vegas, I swore to love Karissa for the rest of my days. But nobody’s promised an infinite number of tomorrows. Nobody’s promised forever. Sometimes, all we have left is today.

Carpe Diem
Seize the day.

It should’ve been over, we should’ve been happy, but people are making it hard for me to live in peace. I’ve got so much blood on my hands they’ll never be clean, and somebody out there seems to want me to pay for it. Happily Ever After always comes at a cost, one any real man would be willing to pay. But that doesn’t mean I’m just going to roll over and accept these consequences.

Because when it comes to the woman I love? The life I’ve fought for?

Nobody is safe.

My Review

“At some point, every part of me became every part of that. The life isn’t just something I lived….it was how I survived. It infused itself into everyone one of my cells, infecting every mitochondrion. It’s in my blood and my bones, and unless you drain me dry and rip me to pieces, you’ll never rid me of all of it.”

“I’ve lied, and stolen, and cheated. I’ve taken lives and assaulted men. I’ve gotten what i wanted through coercion, through intimidation, using force when necessary. I always win.”

I don’t know about you guys, but I was over the moon when I found out that there would be more Naz and Karissa. I could not wait to get my hands on Target on Our Backs and I gotta tell you, it does not disappoint.

Now, I can’t say too much about this story because I don’t want to spoil it for you. But, if you know me, then you know I’ll let you know what you’re in for. Target on Our Backs sucks you into the story from the very first page. From the very first page, you are consumed. You might as well cancel all of your plans for the day because you will not want to put this story down. And me; I totally devoured this book.

As a fan of Naz and Karissa, I will never say no to more of their story. And this final installment certainly lives up to its predecessors. Things have never been easy for this pair. Their love is one for the books and is gritty and intense. They are so wrong for each other, yet oh so right. Their connection so strong, so palpable. I love every moment spent with the two of them.

Target on Our Backs is well written and entertaining. It is just as dark and gritty as the first two books. The conclusion to Naz and Karissa’s story will keep you on the edge of your seat, holding your breath, just waiting to see how it will all play out. You will find yourself wondering if it is possible for our two main characters to get that HEA they desperately need.

Target on Our Back is filled with action, romance, suspense and mystery. There is danger lurking around every corner. And the hits just keep coming, right until the very end. I loved every single thing about this story and could not have been happier with the way this series has ended. My only complaint is that I have to say goodbye to Naz and Karissa. But, if I have to do it, I’m pleased with the send off they were given. Fans of this series, you will not be disappointed with this epic conclusion.

He Will Be My Ruin -tour teaser 1

About HE WILL BE MY RUIN:

The USA TODAY bestselling author of the Ten Tiny Breaths and Burying Water series makes her suspense debut with this sexy, heartpounding story of a young woman determined to find justice after her best friend’s death, a story pulsing with the “intense, hot, emotional” (Colleen Hoover) writing that exhilarates her legions of fans.

A woman who almost had it all . . .

On the surface, Celine Gonzalez had everything a twenty-eight-year-old woman could want: a one-bedroom apartment on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, a job that (mostly) paid the bills, and an acceptance letter to the prestigious Hollingsworth Institute of Art, where she would finally live out her dream of becoming an antiques appraiser for a major auction house. All she had worked so hard to achieve was finally within her reach. So why would she kill herself?

A man who was supposed to be her salvation . . .

Maggie Sparkes arrives in New York City to pack up what’s left of her best friend’s belongings after a suicide that has left everyone stunned. The police have deemed the evidence conclusive: Celine got into bed, downed a lethal cocktail of pills and vodka, and never woke up. But when Maggie discovers a scandalous photograph in a lock box hidden in Celine’s apartment, she begins asking questions. Questions about the man Celine fell in love with. The man she never told anyone about, not even Maggie. The man Celine believed would change her life.

Until he became her ruin.

On the hunt for evidence that will force the police to reopen the case, Maggie uncovers more than she bargained for about Celine’s private life—and inadvertently puts herself on the radar of a killer. A killer who will stop at nothing to keep his crimes undiscovered.

My Review

“This man was once my salvation. Now he will be my ruin.”

Wow!!! What a crazy, crazy ride!!! He Will Be My Ruin was nothing like I expected and I enjoyed every moment of it. He Will Be My Ruin follows the story of Maggie Sparkes. Maggie finds herself in New York after her best friend commits suicide. Everyone is having a hard time coming to grips with the loss of Celine; especially Maggie. As Maggie starts going through Celine’s apartment, things aren’t quiet adding up and Maggie is left with a lot of questions. In her quest for the truth, Maggie may end up finding out more than what she bargained for. And in this case, the truth may get Maggie killed…….

He Will Be My Ruin was a gripping and captivating read. I was hooked from the very beginning and could not stop myself from devouring this book. I had so many questions and was dying to find out those answers. I was intrigued by Maggie and the lengths that she would go to find out what happened to Celine. With each new piece of evidence or discovery, I found myself holding my breath, trying to solve the mystery. And I have to tell you, this book had me guessing right until the very end. I will admit that I thought I had the story figured out, pretty early on. However, the twists that were thrown in there were so good, that I found myself questioning whether or not I was on the right track. And I gotta tell you, it was so much fun, trying to solve this mystery.

He Will Be My Ruin is fast paced and is the type of read that is impossible to put down. This book is filled with mystery and suspense. Yes, there are some steamy moments, but make no mistake this story is not centered around romance. This book will have you asking lots of questions and hopefully you will enjoy the journey to getting those answers as much as I did!

An Assassins Novel

Thriller

betweenshadows

A sexy new thriller about love and revenge from the author of the Capital Confessions and International School series…

X lives by three rules: Show no weakness. Trust no one. Don’t get caught. She lives by the rules they gave her.

The Academy—set in London, shrouded in secrecy—it trains spies, computer experts, and assassins. Their mission? Dispensing justice and altering the course of world politics. Or so they think. In a world where secrets are weapons and some kills are impossible to forget, everything X thought she knew about her life is about to change.

They taught her to fight. To blend into the shadows like a ghost, to operate on the fringes of society, to change her identity with ease. They taught her to kill.

She’ll need every skill they taught her, to stay alive.

My Review

“No one can keep a mask on forever; there are always moments when it slips, moments when the darkness demands its time in the sun.”

What a thrilling, exciting ride!! I have to tell you, when I first heard about this book, I was pumped. I could not wait to read it. The synopsis sounded so exciting, I just knew I had to get my hands on this story. And I have to tell you, as soon as I picked up this book, I could not put it down. I was immediately sucked into X’s world. I wanted to know more about it and exactly who the “Academy” was. There was just something about the academy and their agenda that didn’t sit right with me. It had me asking so many questions and wondering who I could trust. I couldn’t wait to see how this story would unfold.

I loved everything about this book from start to finish. Between Shadows is fast-paced and entrancing. It has everything you could want in a good read and more. It had everything; from drama to danger, from romance to action, to adventure. I loved trying to solve the mystery of what was going on with the academy and the twists and turns along the way, were definitely exciting! There was certainly never a dull moment. I was on the edge of my seat, wondering what would happen next.

Between Shadows was such an exciting read. Chanel Cleeton continues to blow me away with her writing. This story is so different and so refreshing. She definitely knocked it out of the park with this book. Fans of Chanel Cleeton, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend checking this book out!
