Sometimes happily ever after isn’t all it’s cracked up to be…

Theo Fitzcharles thought he’d put the worst behind him when he became King of Thalania and named his two lovers, Meg Sanders and Galen Mikos, as his Consorts. Unfortunately, the realities of running a country have worn on all of them, individually and as a triad. Theo has every intention of making things right, but first he has to deal with an old enemy who’s closer than anyone could have dreamed.

Meg Sanders never wanted to be a princess. Now that she’s one of two Consorts to the King of Thalania, she knows why—it’s work. Every time she turns around, she’s misstepping and struggling not to screw up the careful political maneuvering required for her new position. But her struggles with the new position are the least of her worries she’s attacked in the palace.

Meg knew what she should do. She should tell Theo that the best way to take care of her and Galen was to talk to them. But with the candlelight playing across Theo’s skin and his skillful hands working at the knots in her shoulders, she couldn’t work up the energy to fight with him. “I’m not happy with you.”

“I know.” He dug into a particularly tight knot, working it with his thumb. “What do you need from me tonight, princess?”

She let her eyes close, let him keep working his magic on her body. Six months into their relationship, and Meg knew that Theo would give her anything she asked for. If she wanted him and Galen to dress up like Vikings and roleplay one of her favorite scenes in a romance novel she was reading, he’d do it without question. He had done it without question last month. Theo might be fucking up on communication and overworked to the point where she barely saw him, but she never doubted for a second that he loved her and wanted her happy.

She slipped beneath the surface of the water. Free of his touch, clarity didn’t suddenly strike her like lightning. If there was an answer, she didn’t have it. Meg slowly stood and let herself drink in the way Theo watched her. As if she was some kind of Aphrodite rising out of the ocean instead of standing here in their tub. “I just want you tonight, Theo. None of the bullshit. Just you.”

He nodded and grabbed one of the ridiculously large towels they kept stocked in here. “Let me take care of you tonight,” he repeated.

Easy enough to read in between the lines of what he wanted. A reprieve in a long line of reprieves. Theo was trying to hold off the inevitable conversation all three of them had to have until he could iron out the mess Thalania had become in his absence. Or maybe the backbiting politics and squabbling seven Families had always been like this. Either way, Theo wanted time to get it handled.

She just wished he’d lean on her and Galen a little bit in the meantime.

Meg stepped out of the tub and let him wrap her in the towel. “Like I’m going to say no.”

Theo dried her gently, thoroughly, making quick work of it. He had a face built for candlelight, all sharp angles and a beauty that was damn near painful to witness. The passing time should have inoculated her to the sight of him, but then he would turn just so or look at her with those big blue eyes, and she’d forget to breathe.

“You could.”

She blinked. “What?”

“You could say no.”

Meg laughed. She couldn’t help it. “Theo, have you looked in the mirror lately?”

He glanced over, and she followed his gaze to the large mirror situated on the other side of the bath. They painted quite the picture, him large and towering over her, his shock of near-black hair several shades darker than hers, his big hands holding the towel against her skin. For once, he wasn’t wearing his usual clothing of suits that cost enough to give Meg hives. In the workout shorts, he looked… Not normal. Theo would never be anything as mundane as normal.

He looked touchable.

So that was exactly what she did. Meg ran her hands up his stomach to his chest and stepped to him. “I know I could say no. I’ve said no to you more times than I can count since we’ve met.” She cupped his strong jaw with her palm. “Theo, are you okay?”

“No.” He pulled her slowly, inexorably closer, until her breasts pressed against his bare chest. “Just… Let me take care of you tonight, princess.”

The rare vulnerability he let her see in that moment seduced her as thoroughly as his body ever had. She nodded. “Yes.”

Theo swept her off her feet and carried her out of the bathroom. Normally, she’d give him shit for such a caveman move, but Meg didn’t want to poke at him tonight. She was tired and heartsore, and both her men were obviously feeling the same. They couldn’t fix the mess waiting for them outside those doors, but they could strengthen their foundations tonight.

She just hoped it would be enough.

Galen waited for them on the bed, clothed in only his skin. Her heart skipped a beat. As much as Theo’s beauty seduced her, Galen’s raw sex appeal knocked her right in the stomach. His dusky skin was crisscrossed with lighter scars, a testament to the abuse his father had leveled at him as a child. His dark hair had grown longer, losing the military-like cut. She liked it. There was a lot to like about Galen.

He watched Theo carry her toward him with a predatory look that sent a bolt of desire through her. Only good things came from Galen getting that expression on his face.

Theo set her on the bed just out of reach and pressed a hand to her shoulder. “Don’t move.” He was only gone a moment, disappearing back into the bathroom and reappearing with a hairbrush. He took up a position against the headboard and urged her to sit between his legs with her back to him.

Theo began carefully combing her wet hair.

Meg closed her eyes and let the gentle tug of the brush soothe her. The fluffy towel and Theo’s proximity kept her cozy, but Galen’s attention pricked along her skin, a promise of things to come. On and on it went. Theo was never one to do things halfway, but he seemed to enjoy the slow slide of the brush through her drying hair as much as she did.

Finally, he set the brush aside and eased her back against his chest. Her hair was almost dry at this point, but Theo moved its soft weight off her neck and pressed a kiss to her throat. He pulled the towel away from her body and tossed it off the bed, leaving them skin to skin. It felt good to be wrapped up in him like this. Even better than his combing her hair.

The mattress dipped and Meg opened her eyes to find Galen had moved to a point just past their feet for a better view. He arched a dark eyebrow at her, but something soft and intimate marred the arrogance of the expression. He needed this reaffirming as much as she did.

For once, no one colored the air around them with filthy words and dirty talk. Theo stroked his hands over her body, the rough slide of his palms across her skin sending her nerves sparking in response. She writhed a little, but he wouldn’t be guided. He paid equal attention to her arms, her shoulders, her stomach and her hips, avoiding her breasts and pussy.

The damn tease.

Finally, a small eternity later, he cupped her breasts, giving them the same slow exploration delivered to the rest of her body. Meg couldn’t stop herself from arching up to press herself more firmly into his hands.

“Impatient,” he murmured against her skin.

“Can you blame her?” Galen’s rough tone made Meg shiver. He reached down and palmed his own cock. “She’s shaking with need.”

Meg grabbed Theo’s hand. She spread her legs wide, hooking them on either side of Theo’s, making sure to give Galen a good show. “Take care of me, baby.” She pressed his hand to her pussy. “You promised.”

“I did, didn’t I?” Theo cupped her there roughly, possessively, the touch lighting a spark beneath Meg’s skin. He pushed a single finger into her, still teasing, not offering nearly enough of what she craved. His voice curled around her, just as intimate as their current position. “I’m feeling generous tonight, princess, so I’ll let you choose how we give it to you.

Theirs Ever After Excerpt

Theo opened his eyes to see his best friend, his lover, his Consort, standing over him. Galen looked as tired and worn out as Theo felt, though where Theo had lost weight, Galen had gained muscle. No telling where he found the time to work out, but the evidence was in the way his T-shirt stretched tight across his shoulders and chest and the clear definition in his legs. He couldn’t even appreciate the new changes for fear of what they indicated. Are we going to war, Galen?

Some days it certainly felt like it.

He finished up his set slowly, drawing in the burning of his muscles as he strained against the weight of the bench press. In this moment, he was perfectly present. It wouldn’t last. It never lasted. But he had right now, and it would have to be able to shore him up for the coming conversation.

Theo wiped his face with his towel and stood. “Okay, I’m done. What’s wrong?”

“Would you like a list?”

Fuck, something was wrong. Theo glanced at the door to the gym, instinctively looking for the audience they had for most of their waking hours. The door remained closed, which didn’t mean no one was listening, but it lessened the likelihood. Even with the cameras blinking in the corners of the room, they were as close to alone as they were likely to get. “Galen, talk to me.”

“Not tonight. Not like this.” Galen started for the door. “Meg had a hard day, Theo. We all did.” Subtle comment, less subtle bite. If he concentrated, Theo could almost see things unraveling around him. He’d known life wouldn’t be simple once he retook the throne, but the freedom of exile had gone to his head and he’d forgotten just how easy it could be to drown in this world.

It sure as hell seemed like all three of them were a few short breaths from doing exactly that.

Drowning.

And he didn’t know how to fix it.

This wasn’t the time or place to get into it. Darkness had fallen while Theo was preoccupied, and most of the palace staff had gone home. It didn’t leave the halls empty—they were never empty—but there were fewer people to bow and murmur greetings as he and Galen stalked toward their private suite. Theo managed to nod in response, but he schooled his expression to discourage actual conversation. In his current mood, he couldn’t guarantee what he’d say if someone tried to stop him now.

They slammed into their suite and Theo grabbed Galen’s arm before he had a chance to leave the sitting room. “What’s going on?”

“No. Fuck that. You don’t get to play the concerned partner now.” Galen shot a look toward the main rooms and lowered his voice. “You got what you wanted, Theo. You got your cake and you’re eating it, too. The first King of Thalania in history to name two Consorts. Congratu-fucking-lations.”

Theo rocked back on his heels. This conversation had been a long time in coming, and even knowing it bore down on him with all the subtly of a runaway train, he still wasn’t prepared. “You knew—”

“No. I don’t need to hear that I went into this with eyes wide open. I know I fucking did.” Galen dragged a hand over his face. “Meg has three months before school starts up again. She’s fucking miserable, Theo. She puts on a brave face for you, but underneath she’s messed up.”

And what about you?

Theo didn’t voice the words lodged in his throat. He’d learned a long time ago not to ask questions he might not want answers to, and this numbered among them. He didn’t point out that he’d given both Galen and Meg a chance to leave six months ago, and he sure as hell didn’t point out that they could leave now if they were so inclined. He might be an ass sometimes, but not about this.

Not when they’d already sacrificed so much.

He couldn’t fix this. Not yet. Things would calm down once he got the Families in line and brought his siblings around. Camilla was happy to see him, of course. Even with their father’s death, his baby sister had been kept from the worst of the political bullshit. At sixteen, she was just starting to dip her toes into the water, and he’d do whatever it took to ensure she remained safe while she figured out her own path.

Their brother was another story altogether. For just under a year, Edward had thought he’d be king. Having that taken away, rightfully or no, created a divide between them that Theo didn’t know how to fix. Especially when Edward announced his intentions to attend Oxford for university, and left within weeks of Theo’s coronation. There were a handful of nobles who’d jump at the chance to use that separation for their own ambitions, and he needed to fix it before things got worse.

But not tonight.

Tonight, he had to fix this.

Theo snagged the back of Galen’s neck. His friend resisted for a second, but then he exhaled harshly and let Theo pull him closer until their foreheads pressed together. Tell me what you need. Theo closed his eyes. Galen didn’t have to tell him. He knew what Galen needed—what they all needed. “Where is she?”

“Tub.”

Good. She’d be nice and relaxed. He tightened his grip on Galen’s neck. “The food?”

“An hour.”

Good boy. Sex wouldn’t solve any of the undercurrents in the long term, but it would help release the tension that had been growing with every passing day. Trapping the two people he loved was never part of the plan, but Theo couldn’t shake the feeling that was exactly what he’d done. He released Galen and stepped back. “Strip.”

Theo turned and walked deeper into the room without bothering to make sure Galen obeyed, knowing it would piss his friend off, and knowing that anger was exactly what he needed to purge the festering feeling beneath. At least for tonight. Tomorrow, they would talk and further clear the air. Open communication was the only way this would work, and they hadn’t spent enough time alone together to get to the heart of things in the last couple weeks.

His fault. He knew that well enough.

He’d fix it. He’d find a way to fix all of it.

Theo pulled off his shirt and tossed it over the back of the desk chair. He kicked off his shoes and then walked into the bathroom. Steam fogged the mirrors and Meg had turned off all the lights, leaving only the trio of thick candles lit on the half wall between the tub and the sinks. It gave the room a dark, intimate feeling that he approved of. He stalked to the edge of the tub and took a seat near her head. She had her eyes closed and the water licked at her breasts as if determined to offer him teasing glimpses.

“Thought you weren’t working late tonight.”

“I wasn’t planning on it. Things didn’t go well with Lord Huxley, and I didn’t want to come back here with that frustration riding so close to the surface. I needed some time to cool off.” He smoothed a hand over her hair, tangling his fingers in the dark strands. She looked good. The decadent meals the staff insisted on putting together had filled out her curves, and he couldn’t count her ribs the way he’d been able to when they first met. Theo kept stroking her hair and used his free hand to urge her onto her stomach. The new position freed him up to work at the knots of tension lining her shoulders and upper back. Tension that was his fault. “Let me take care of you tonight, princess.” Galen walked naked into the bathroom and leaned against the counter, crossing his arms over his chest. Theo met his gaze steadily. “Let me take care of both of you.”

Forever Theirs Excerpt

Copyright © 2018 Katee Robert

Galen stepped out of the cab and pulled Meg after him. At this time of night, there was still plenty of street traffic—plenty of opportunity for his father’s men to blend in until they were close enough to attack.

They already had attacked.

He hustled her off the sidewalk, half carrying her in his rush. She cursed at him, but she could be pissed. At least she was still alive. He didn’t believe for a second that Dorian would order her killed, not when he would see her as a tool just waiting to be used. But Galen’s father would attempt to take her, and that Galen couldn’t allow.

He didn’t relax until the elevator doors opened into their apartment and he caught sight of Theo pacing back and forth through the living room. He’s okay. Meg’s okay. They’re safe.

Except they weren’t.

Shit had hit the fan in the most fucked up way possible, and there was no cleaning up this mess.

Galen released Meg’s arm and ensured the security system was booted up and the door was locked. “Trouble?”

“Not here.” Theo rounded the couch and stopped just out of reach. He devoured Meg with his gaze, no doubt taking in her tangled hair, her torn dress, and the way she shook like a junkie in need of a fix. Adrenaline letdown. Theo cursed. “I’m sorry, princess.”

Meg crossed her arms over her chest and slid back a step, shying away from him—from them both. “I… I need a minute. A shower. Something.”

Theo gave a short nod. “Take what you need.”

She headed for the bedroom and spun at last second. “Alone.”

“No shit,” Galen growled. “Go. Take your time. We don’t touch walking wounded anyways.”

Her spine went rigid and her hazel eyes icy. “Fuck you.”

Better she be angry than terrified. He could work with angry. The scared woman in the back of the cab, looking for reassurances that he couldn’t give her… That kind of comfort wasn’t in Galen’s skillset. He preferred the harsh truth to silken lies, and there was no truth he could give Meg that wouldn’t result in her terror.

He stared until she squirmed. “Already did.”

Meg raised a shaking finger. “I swear to god—”

“Children.” Theo’s voice snapped through the room, a sharp tone that a person ignored to their peril. Meg made a sound perilously close to a snarl, but Theo ignored it. “Go shower or do whatever you need to get your head on straight. You’re fucking terrified and you’re snapping at the biggest dick in the room just to prove that you’re not helpless. It’s wasting time we don’t have.”

“His dick isn’t the biggest,” she muttered.

Galen almost laughed. Even scared out of her damn mind, Meg still had a mouth on her—and hell if he didn’t respect her more for it. “Go shower, little mouse. The adults are talking.”

She made a sound like an angry teakettle and stalked down the hallway. He waited for the sound of the door slamming, but a soft click was all he got. “Damn.”

Theo stalked into the kitchen and snagged the whiskey bottle. He took a long pull and then passed it over. “Tell me.”

“Two men. I didn’t recognize them, but they claimed Dorian sent them.” Galen drank from the bottle, letting the whiskey burn away the awful feeling in his chest when he’d walked through that door and found Meg tied to a chair with two men standing over her. He’d thought… It didn’t matter what he’d thought. He got there in time. They hadn’t done any lasting damage.

At least not the physical kind.

“She can’t go back.”

Galen stared at the bottle. He tightened his grip and put serious consideration into bashing Theo a few times with it. “You just couldn’t leave her alone, could you? It took them a grand total of three days to figure out she might matter and come after her. Fuck, Theo, this shit is on your head.”

“I know.” Theo watched him. Those blue eyes saw too much, just like always. “And yet I’m not the one who was skulking outside her work. You told me you were meeting a contact.”

Caught.

He opened his mouth, and then abandoned the lie before he gave it voice. “You put her in danger. I was ensuring she stayed safe.”

Theo’s lips quirked, but his eyes went hard. “Lie to yourself if you need to, but don’t you dare lie to me. I know why you were there—the same reason I was a week ago. You couldn’t stay away from her any more than I could.” He bracketed Galen’s throat with his hand, his thumb caressing Galen’s pulse point. Theo leaned in. “I shouldn’t have paid the tuition with my own name, and I’ll be the first to admit it. But we are both moths to her fucking flame, and you don’t get to play the beleaguered bodyguard—not right now, and not with me. You want her.”

“Yes.” The word felt ripped from him, taken despite his best efforts to stay silent.

Theo’s grip tightened and his gaze dropped to Galen’s mouth. “We can’t stay in New York. They’ll have eyes on her place.”

“They wanted to take her, Theo. There was a van illegally parked near the back door. They might have set her up to answer questions, but they were going to take her.” If they had, Dorian would use her for whatever purpose he had in mind, a lever to get Galen and Theo to dance to his tune, and then he’d discard her like yesterday’s trash. Even if he didn’t kill her, there would be scars, and she wouldn’t be the Meg they knew anymore.

Theo pressed his forehead to Galen’s, grounding them both. One breath. Two. Three. On the fourth, he stepped back and released him. “You were there in time.”

“I might not have been.” If he’d managed to resist the siren call of Meg’s presence, if he’d had more control, if he’d really gone to meet his local contact instead of doing the skulking Theo accused him of.

“You were there in time,” Theo repeated. He glanced down the hallway to the master bedroom where they could still hear the shower going. “Make the call.”

“She’s never going to forgive us for this.” For dropping a bomb on her life and leaving on destruction in their wake. The two grand was nothing compared to what came next.

Theo sighed. “I know. But better she’s pissed and alive than the alternative. Make the call, Galen. We need to be out of New York before dawn.”

Their Famous Dominant, An Office Intrigue Novel by Nicole Edwards

Release date: July 31st, 2018

*Menage Romance

My name is Trent Ramsey. It’s possible you’ve heard of me. I’m one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood. Not only that, but I’ve built a vast empire of businesses, including two of the hottest BDSM clubs on the map. My face has been plastered on big screens and magazines for over a decade. Plus, I’ve got more money than I know what to do with.

At one point in my life, I thought that was enough to make me happy.

So, why am I not? Why have I found myself at a crossroad? It’s not like I don’t know what I want. I know exactly what I want.

Or rather who.

But it isn’t what you think. I’m not after a submissive who will fill the void. No, it’s never that easy for me.

I’m after two and they aren’t both submissives. Or rather, they aren’t both in the lifestyle because they are both definitely submissive. In fact, one happens to be my personal assistant, a man who has spent the past three years working alongside me, helping to manage my entire world.

Although my mind has been set on one particular woman for so long, I can’t deny I have an overwhelming urge to dominate him, too.

Better yet, both of them together.

At the same time.

THEIR FAMOUS DOMINANT (OFFICE INTRIGUE, 4) CHAPTER ONE

Trent
Saturday, August 4

“MASTER RAMSEY?”

Turning at the sound of my name, I noticed the blushing submissive staring at me, flanked on both sides by her tuxedo-wearing Doms. While her light blue eyes were wide with what could only pass as star-struck wonder, her Dominants’ identical hazel eyes were filled with amusement.

Langston Moore and his twin brother, Landon, had just claimed their submissive in an official collaring ceremony in front of their friends and family. And I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t completely honored that they’d thought to include me.

My mind snapshotted the image of the threesome, a memory of this day etched in my mind for future reference.

“Luci,” I greeted, smiling at the young woman who was the star of today’s festivities. While it was evident Luciana Moore wanted to say something, no words fell from her lips as she stared back at me with eyes as round as saucers.

“Go on, pet,” Landon urged his beaming bride.

“I … uh…” Luci’s voice chirped on the last word.

Langston chuckled. “What our tongue-tied submissive wants to say is thank you for bein’ here today.”

“The pleasure is all mine.” I shook hands with Langston, then Landon. “The ceremony was beautiful.”
“As is our submissive,” Landon noted with pride.I peered down at the petite submissive, who looked like an erotic fairy princess clad in an elegantly designed white corset, a platinum and diamond collar gracing her neck, and little else. “I’d have to agree. It’s been a memorable day.”

“With no small thanks to you for the venue,” Langston added.“The location was merely the backdrop,” I told him, my gaze stopping on Luci once more. “You, young lady, are even more beautiful now that you’ve been officially collared.”

Luci blushed as she usually did when she was around me. “Thank you, Master Ramsey.”

“I still remember the first night I met you at Dichotomy.” My gaze shot to Landon. “She came with you that night.”

He grinned from ear to ear. “She did.”

“And I’m sure she was just as star-struck then as she is now,” Langston noted.
“She was,” I agreed. “In fact, if I recall, that response broke one of Landon’s rules and you spent most of the night walking around naked.”
“Mostly naked,” Landon corrected. “I allowed her to keep on the G-string.”I grinned, and Luci blushed again.

Needless to say, it had been interesting to witness, as it was any time a new submissive was introduced into our world.

“Thank you for overlooking my blunder that night, Master Ramsey,” Luci replied, her voice husky and soft.

“You were quite sweet.”

“But seriously,” Landon said, his tone sobering. “We’re honored that you attended.”

“Don’t be honored,” I told him with a smirk. “I have every intention of drinking my weight in champagne. It won’t be cheap.”

Landon laughed. “I don’t doubt that.”

“Truth is,” Langston said, “I didn’t think you were that easy, Ramsey. You didn’t even put up a fight when I invited you.”

He was right. I wasn’t easy. Usually.

“I’m only easy for you, my friend,” I told him, grinning.

In the past year and a half, Langston and his three partners at his PR firm—his twin brother, Landon, along with Justin Parker and Benjamin Snowden—had become good friends of mine. We met through Dichotomy, the BDSM club I opened in Chicago roughly two years ago. The four men were part of the first wave of members who had joined the club and I’d gotten well acquainted with them.

Partially because of them, I’d been spending more and more time here in Chicago in recent months, needing a break from the monotony that had become my life.

“Probably not wise to let word get out that you’ll roll over with very little persuasion.” Langston chuckled, his gaze darting to the people milling about behind us. “Those subs following you around like lost puppies might think twice.”

I didn’t bother looking back at the submissives I knew were mingling nearby. I had yet to show any interest whatsoever, however they still trailed close behind. It was something I despised, and any submissive who hoped for even a small amount of my attention knew that.

“One could only be so lucky,” I told him.

Langston’s gaze slid to the far side of the room and mine followed.

“Your assistant looks a little out of sorts,” he said with a grin.

I allowed my eyes to rake over the handsome man donning a designer tux and a wild-eyed expression as he took in everything around him.

“This is a first for him,” I told them.

“Well, you wouldn’t know it,” Langston said facetiously.

“What gave it away?”

“Probably the fact that his jaw is dragging the floor,” Langston said with a laugh.

At least the boy had the sense to keep his tongue in his mouth.

“Give him time,” Landon chimed in. “He’ll get used to it.”

I had to wonder whether that was true or not. While I had purposely kept my assistant out of this side of my life, something had compelled me to invite him today. I was glad that I had because I enjoyed his company. He was one of the few people in the world I trusted implicitly. It had taken three years to get to that point, but I knew he had my best interests at heart.

I turned my attention back to the triad before me. “Is King around?”

Langston’s eyes scanned the area behind me, obviously seeking out his father. “He’s around here somewhere. Probably tryin’ to keep a tight leash on our mother.” Langston looked back at me and grinned. “You know how parents can be. I’m not sure anything is good enough for her boys and our mother’s been flutterin’ around, tryin’ to ensure everything is perfect.”

“Well, someone should tell her she accomplished her goal,” I informed Langston, choosing to slide right over the reference to mothers.

If anyone wanted parental advice, I was the last person they should come to. My own mother had put me up for adoption when she was a whopping fourteen years old. I didn’t know who she was, much less who had sired me. Nor did I care.

A nice couple had adopted me when I was a newborn, but a fire in our home had taken their lives when I was seven. The neighbor had managed to get me out, but by the time he did, the house was fully engulfed. According to the medical examiner, they died of smoke inhalation.

At that point, without any family who could care for me, I ended up back in foster care—where I was obviously destined to be. I spent several years in and out of homes, largely due to my age, along with my inability to behave. When I was fourteen, Rosa and Daniel Singer had come into my life. Although they never officially adopted me, they did foster me through most of my formative years.

While it hadn’t been a childhood grounded in routine or consistency, I couldn’t complain too much. I wasn’t broken in the sense I’d had a shitty childhood, and I damn sure didn’t want anyone’s pity.

However, I did attribute the lack of control to my innate need to be in control now. It was one of the reasons I’d ventured into the realm of BDSM and then practically built my life around it.

I noticed several others lining up, probably hoping to give their congratulations to the threesome. “Well, I should stop monopolizing your time.”

Langston smirked. “You headin’ back to Texas after this?”

“Actually, I’m off to California to meet with my agent.”

Landon cleared his throat. “Official business?”

I met the other man’s curious hazel eyes. “We’ve got a few things to discuss.”

“We’re still considerin’ your proposal,” he admitted quickly.

I shook my head and huffed a laugh. “While I’m a businessman first, today is not for that. We’ll catch up in a couple of weeks when you’re back from your honeymoon.”

Landon nodded, but I could see his reluctance. While I was eager to find out whether or not the partners had come to a decision regarding the proposal I’d made, I wasn’t going to allow that to interfere with the festivities today.

“Well, thank you again for handlin’ the venue,” Landon said, motioning toward our surroundings. “We couldn’t have asked for a better place.”

“Even if I remember specifically tellin’ you we weren’t lookin’ for anything fancy,” Langston tacked on. The significant stress on fancy did not go unnoticed. “I should’ve known how you rich boys work.”

I laughed. With a net worth of 750 million dollars, I could hold my own, sure. However, I happened to know that Langston and his partners weren’t doing too bad in the finance department. In fact, they were in the process of expanding an already outrageously profitable business. Chatter PR Global was officially the third-ranked public relations firm in the world.

Granted, my side ventures were quickly increasing my wealth and I could credit that to good business decisions on my part. Not only was I one of, if not the highest-paid actor in Hollywood, I was also a venture capitalist and I had my hand in many pies. Along with the dozens of start-ups I’d helped fund, I was a silent partner in many things, owned some impressive real estate that was turning nice profits. I’d learned to diversify early on and it had paid off. Even more so since I’d invested in a technology company that was in the process of launching a software platform that would change the way most people did business.

In a word, I was rich. No sense denying it. However, I was also pragmatic.

“I promised you wouldn’t be disappointed, Moore,” I reminded Langston.

“That you did,” he agreed. “You were true to your word.”

Admittedly, this had been the perfect venue for a formal collaring ceremony. In fact, it was a place I’d considered for myself should I ever find a submissive of my own. Unfortunately, at the rate I was going, I wasn’t sure that would ever happen.

“All right,” I told them firmly. “I’m off to see if I can get my assistant to relax a little.”

“Maybe offer him some champagne,” Landon suggested. “Or bourbon.”

I glanced over at Troy. I wasn’t sure any amount of alcohol was going to help.

“Thanks again for comin’,” Langston said.

“My pleasure.” I turned my attention to Luci one last time. “You keep these boys in line.”

“I will, Master Ramsey,” she answered, still slightly bewildered.

With a smile, I turned and ambled away, my gaze landing on my assistant.

Troy Shelton—my personal assistant for the past three years—looked as though he wanted to crawl into a hole and hide. Even in spite of that, he was a very attractive man. He took good care of himself, which I found ridiculously appealing. Well-built with his sculpted chest and narrow waist, tall. He filled out a tuxedo nicely.

His shoulder-length, dark brown hair hung loosely in that style that said he didn’t care what it looked like but he spent plenty of time getting it to do what he wanted it to do. His jaw had that purposeful stubble, his cheekbones were high, his nose perfectly proportioned to his face, and his mocha-brown eyes didn’t look tired or strung out. In my world, that was not the norm. Considering my demanding schedule and my equally demanding personality, that was a wonder, really.

The thought made me smile.

There was something inexplicably masculine about him, but underneath, there was something innately submissive.

When a waiter offered champagne, I took two glasses from his tray.

“You all right?” I asked when I approached Troy, handing over one of the glasses.

Uncertain brown eyes flew up to my face as Troy nodded. “Of course, boss.”

I smiled to myself as I scanned the crowd, taking note of the numerous bodyguards strategically placed throughout. While security of this magnitude wasn’t usually necessary at a function such as this, I’d had to come up with a backup plan when word leaked that I was going to be attending today’s ceremony. Luckily, I had friends in high places and it had only taken one phone call to ensure the press wasn’t going to sneak into the party without an invitation.

“By the way, boss, Ken called. Twice. Said he needs an answer.”

I frowned. “Ignore his calls,” I instructed. “I’ll discuss with him in person on Monday.”

“Have you made a decision?” he inquired.

“Yeah,” I told him. I’d known from the beginning of the unnecessary negotiations that I was turning down the part I was being offered. Although the movie would no doubt be a success, I was taking fewer and fewer roles these days for personal reasons. The only person who didn’t seem to get it was my agent.

“Is there anything I can get you?” Troy offered.

Casting a sideways glance his way, I kept my initial response to myself. There was something I wanted from him, but we had a long way to go before we ever got to that place.

“I’m good for now,” I replied. “We’re here to relax, not work.”

“Right, boss.” His eyes widened as a Domme walked by, leading her scantily clad submissive around with a leash.

While Troy was otherwise preoccupied ogling the people around us, I let my gaze trail over him momentarily. I had no idea what I was doing checking him out, but I found something uniquely appealing about the man. Although my mind had been set on one particular woman for so long, I couldn’t deny the fact that I had an overwhelming urge to dominate Troy.

Better yet, both of them together.

At the same time.
For those who knew me, that was an important detail that would come into play one day.I just had no idea that one day would come quite so soon.

My Review

Since Two Point Conversion is a novella, I’m just going to keep this review short and sweet. Two Point Conversion is the debut novel from the duo called Liane Moore. This story is fast paced and hits the ground running. Two Point Conversion is hotter than hot and sexy as hell. This story is all kinds of naughty and a whole lot of fun. If you’re looking for a quick, sexy fix, look no further, Two Point Conversion is the book for you.

*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*

Excerpt:

“You…” she swallowed hard, her widened blue eyes darting back and forth between Macon and me. As she drew her lower lip in between her teeth, my dick trembled, twitched, and grew nearly twice its size. God, she affected me so easily. So incredibly. I was about to pounce when she finally found her voice. “Do you do this a lot?”

The words came out in a rush, and this time when she bit her lip, I nearly groaned. My eyes flicked to Macon, and we exchanged a knowing look–both aware of how fragile this situation was. How innocent and vulnerable our sweet Caroline was. I knew we had to tread carefully, but even still, we knew we had to be completely honest. If this was going to go anywhere, honesty was essential. But fuck me, I didn’t know how patient I could be.

The first time I saw Caroline I was nearly knocked on my feet. Macon and I’d just gotten back to town, and we were on the field checking out the turf.

We hadn’t even noticed a girl was running the stairs until she nearly collided with us.

I’d wrapped my arms around her waist to keep her from falling. When her widened blue eyes had blinked up at me, my heart nearly stopped beating. My dick had instantly hardened. It was as if my heart and body knew she was meant to be mine.

I’d nearly growled when she stepped back from me and out of my arms.

Mine.

The ferocity of my need to claim her immediately caught me off guard. I’d never felt that way for another woman. Daddy had always told me I’d know the one when I met her. I just hadn’t known it would hit me that hard. That quick. That intense.

Macon had to have noticed. I felt his elbow before hearing his word. “Settle.”
