Keepin’ it Reel
Seasiders,
We all know the youngest Bradley sibling must be the most carefree of the bunch. Last this writer heard, Palmer was employed with at least five different jobs. Pet walker, house sitter, vet receptionist, nanny, and the least of my favorite, pooper scooper. To each her own, I guess.
Word on the docks is Palmer has caught the eye of our latest new Seaside resident and single dad, Hunter Bryan. Oh, his little boy, Charlie, is just the sweetest thing. A little seagull has planted in my ear that Palmer will be Charlie’s new nanny…don’t worry, Seasiders, I’ve got my ear to the ground and will keep you updated on this latest development.
Fair winds and following seas!
MY REVIEW
"And that was when I knew--Mayson Bryan had the power to destroy me, body and soul. But I was going to take the leap."
Lost to You is the latest addition to the Seaside Chronicles series and is my favorite book in this series to date.
Lost to You follows the story of Palmer and Mason. When we first meet up with Palmer, we discover that she’s a jack of all trades, but hasn’t figured out where her true passion lies. When offered to be a nanny for Seaside’s newest resident, everything in her is saying yes, only there’s just one problem. How can she be a nanny when she’s got a thing for her potential boss? Stick around and find out in Lost to You. I promise you won’t regret it.
Lost to You captivated me from the very first page. I loved how passionate Palmer was and how she wasn’t afraid to stick to her guns despite the pressure from her family. She loved big and loved hard. And when Mason enters the picture, he manages to turn her entire world upside and has her rethinking everything.
Together Palmer and Mason made an incredible team. Their chemistry was genuine and honest. They certainly gave me a run for my money with all of their will they/won’t they moments. But, I am telling you, it was so worth it.
I loved what a devoted father Mason was to Charlie, always putting him first and making the hard decisions on his own. Palmer was the breath of fresh air that both Mason and Charlie needed in their lives, they just didn’t know it yet. Speaking of Charlie, Charlie absolutely stole my heart. He was the sweetest little boy and I wanted nothing more than for him to have a good life filled with love and happiness.
In the end, this book stole my heart in so many ways. Filled with all of my favorite tropes and then some, this book kept me captivated from page one and I couldn’t help but devour this book in just a single sitting. I love this series and can’t help but get lost in the world this author has created. This small town has a way of making you feel at home and leaves you in anticipation of what’s to come next. I know I’ll certainly be counting down the days until the next book in the Seaside Chronicles series hits my kindle.
