Tempt is the fourth book in the Off-Limits series, but can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel. When we first meet up with our lead, Kat she’s at a bit of a turning point in her life. Her roommates are all finding love and moving on with their lives. Meanwhile, Kat is just going with the flow, taking one day at a time and trying to figure out what to do next with her life. So, when Daniel asks Kat to consider being his son’s nanny, she’d be foolish to turn him down. This unexpected offer may provide the answers Kat never knew she needed.
From the moment I met Kat and Daniel, I knew I was in for a special treat. Kat was such a special character. She had her share of faults and issues, but there was so much more to this girl than meets the eye and I couldn’t wait to see just her character flourish. And Daniel…Daniel is the swoon-worthy single dad who just wanted to give his son the world. Sadly, he was just going through the paces and didn’t realize how much he was missing out on until Kat entered his life. Together these two steamed up the pages and left me wanting more in the best possible way.
Checking off a lot of my favorite tropes, Tempt was everything I wanted and hoped for. This story was smartly written with entertaining banter. The characters were fun and relatable. The plot was fast-moving and kept me engaged the entire time. I laughed. I swooned. I fell head over heels. If you’re a fan of sexy, single-dad stories with a forbidden romance flare, you won’t want to miss Tempt.
