Review: Antichrist by Amo Jones

Posted on

Meraki Mallory lived two lives. The one that everyone thought she did, and the one she worked hard to hide. She burned with her demons instead of running from them, but when Niko Davis rode back into town with a bag full of secrets, she knew she would need to start hiding them instead. Niko knew her inside and out, and if he saw even a smidge of her soul, he would see that she was no longer the girl he left behind…

When the president of the New York chapter of the Seven Knights MC dies, he passes the gavel down to Niko… but unknown to anyone else, that’s not the only thing he left him.

Niko fights for what’s his, and he’s only ever claimed one person in his life—Meraki. So when he rips away the walls she built around herself with his bare teeth, the secrets that she has so fiercely hidden away all of these years suddenly bleed onto the four unmarked graves laid out in front of his steel-cap boots…

It started with a bond that destroyed everyone around them…

…it ends with blood.

MY REVIEW

“This kind of love doesn’t die out, it burns.”

“He and I are dangerous because we will always choose each other. No matter what.”

“Baby, I may be the Antichrist, but you’re definitely my holy grail.”

As one of my most anticipated reads of 2022, Antichrist delivers a sinfully dark tale that kept me on the edge of my seat and wondering what the heck did I just read?

Antichrist is a well-crafted and intriguing story that will captivate you from the very first page. From the moment you start reading this story, you are given tiny little pieces of the bigger picture. A story filled with darkness, intrigue, betrayal, secrets, lies, and oh, so much hate. A story that will have you questioning so many things. A story filled with twists and turns that you’ll never see coming, but will leave you with bated breath, wondering what will happen next. Your boundaries will be tested in so many ways. Dark romance lovers, you have been warned. Meraki and Niko’s story is not for the faint of heart.

Antichrist took my expectations and threw them out of the window. I just experienced one heck of a dark and delicious journey. When it comes to this book, all I can say is to go into it with an open mind. This book is anything but your typical dark read. Expect the unexpected and just let yourself experience the crazy ride this author is about to take you on. Amo Jones does not disappoint and I can’t wait to get my hands on whatever she decides to write next!

*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
