MY REVIEW

The Brazen is the latest novel from author Willa Nash that will capture readers and hearts and leave them swooning over this small-town romance.

The Brazen follows the story of Kerrigan and Pierce. Kerrigan’s got dreams and will do anything to make them come true, even if that means overextending herself. When Kerrigan’s investor passes suddenly, her world gets turned upside down. On the surface, Pierce seems like he wants to ruin Kerrigan’s life, but if there’s one thing to know about Kerrigan, it’s that she won’t go down without a fight. When a snowstorm traps Kerrigan and Pierce together, these two, sorta enemies, must put their differences aside if they’re going to survive this storm together….

The Brazen is the third book in the Calamity Montana series and was everything that I was hoping it would be. I loved the tension and banter between Kerrigan and Pierce. I loved Kerrigan’s determination and her never give up spirit. She was just as stubborn as Pierce, and had a huge heart to go along with it. Pierce wasn’t all bad. He was kind of a jerk in the beginning, but he had good reasons for his reservations. I loved getting to know him and seeing what made him tick. Kerrigan was exactly what Pierce needed in his life. She made him open his eyes and learn how to trust again and I had an absolute fun time watching these two fall…

Overall, I thought this book was a quick and enjoyable read. The characters were real and easy to relate to. I enjoyed the family drama and the unexpected twists. This book was filled with all the swoon and romance that we’ve come to know and love from this author and I’m excited to see where this series will take us readers next!
