Review: Desiring the Dancer (The Risqué Series #1) by Lilly Avalon

Carlie Coleman is not looking forward to her stepsister’s bachelorette party.

It was supposed to be a simple affair with a small group of Valerie’s closest friends at their parents’ beach house. Instead, the guests have tripled, there’s a fancy caterer, and at some point there will be strippers.

It’s going to be a disaster… until she meets the cute waiter.

Aiden Carter is sweet and she’s smitten. They can’t stop staring at each other from across the room. Their mutual attraction is undeniable. Before the night is over, she discovers something else.

The cute waiter is also the entertainment.

If you’re looking for a short, hot, and sexy read, then look no further, Desiring The Dancer is just the read you’ve been waiting for.

Desiring The Dancer might be a super quick read, but don’t let that fool you. This book hits all the marks and even has time for a little drama. Desiring The Dancer follows the story of Carlie and Aiden. Carlie is at her stepsister’s bachelorette party and hits it off with one of the waiters. Their chemistry and connection is instant, and boy is Carlie in for a surprise when she finds out that Aiden is the entertainment for the night. Carlie and Aiden may not have met in the most conventional way, but fate has a funny way of throwing people together…

Desiring The Dancer is a fast-paced novella. I enjoyed Carlie and Aiden together. I thought the two of them had great chemistry and I loved the little bit of drama that was added to their story. While their story truly was a quick one, I think it satisfied all the marks and delivered a sexy, yet quick read. All in all, this was a quick and easy read, one you can definitely finish in about an hour or so, and I had a fun time getting swept up in this little novella.
