Staci Hart is wowing readers with a new series I can’t get enough of! Coming Up Roses is the first in the Bennet Brother’s series, a spin off of the Austen Series! Prepare yourself for rom-com gold with the perfect dose of heartfelt longing and emotion! Don’t miss out on this new release!

Coming Up Roses Bennet Brothers #1 Staci Hart

Everyone hates parts of their job.

Maybe it’s the paperwork. Maybe it’s the day-to-day grind. Maybe it’s that client who never knows what they want, or the guy who always cooks fish in the microwave.

But not me. I love every corner of the Longbourne Flower Shop, every flower, every petal, every stem. I love the greenhouse, and I love Mrs. Bennet, my boss. I love creating, and I love being a florist. I don’t hate anything at all.

Except for Luke Bennet.

The Bennet brothers have come home to help their mom save the flower shop, and Luke is at the helm. His smile tells a tale of lust, loose and easy. He moves with the grace of a predator, feral and wild. A thing unbridled, without rules or constraint.

When he comes home to save Longbourne, I almost can’t be mad at him.

Almost.

He doesn’t remember that night I’ll never forget. That kiss, touched with whiskey and fire. It branded me like a red-hot iron. But it meant nothing to him.

Everyone hates part of their job, and I hate Luke Bennet. Because if I don’t, I’ll fall in love with him.

MY REVIEW

“Be wild. Because life is lived in the moments you don’t see coming. Not in the comfort of predictability, but in the thrill of the unknown.”
“There was nothing in the world like adventure. There was nothing so sweet as discovery. The unknown, the new, only broadened our lives, made us better. Taught us. Made us more than we were. I sought it at every turn, craved it with every sunrise.”
“When I commit, I go all in, Tess,” “All in?” “All fucking in.”
“I was a fire that had burned to ash, leaving only dust and dying embers.”

Ever since I laid eyes on the cover of Coming Up Roses, I have been dying to get my hands on it. The colors just popped and drew my eyes to it. I know they say you should never judge a book by its cover, but not only is this cover fantastic, the story inside is pretty amazing as well.

Coming Up Roses is the perfect summer read. It’s sweet and swoon-worthy with just the right amount of angst. The story is flawlessly written and completely captivating. The characters are real and easy to connect with. I loved the chemistry between Luke and Tess. They had an incredible pull and I just loved their banter. They totally nailed the enemies to lovers vibe. Although, I’m gonna be honest, it is so hard to hate on Luke. Sure, he isn’t perfect, but his heart is totally in the right place and you can tell that he’s trying to make up for his past mistakes. And Tess….well, she is just great. She’s got a fiery attitude and isn’t one to easily let go of grudges. She’s an amazing creator and is terrific at her job. And when she loves, this girl totally loves hard.

Coming Up Roses was just the story I was hoping it would be. I loved getting swept up in Tess and Luke’s story. The road to happily ever after wasn’t an easy one for them. There was definitely a few bumps along the way. But, in the end, I found myself hopelessly addicted to these two and couldn’t help but root for them to fight for their happily ever after.

Coming Up Roses was a terrific read to spend my day getting lost in. I loved the story-line and I enjoyed getting to know these characters. This story had just the right amount of angst, drama, steam and romance. All in all, another fantastic read from author Staci Hart.

*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife, though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
