The Left Side Of Perfect – Release Day – August 30
For better or for worse,’til death do us part . . .
The better captured me; she’s who stole my heart.
And made me realize I couldn’t live without this woman.
The worse of her took my breath away–kicked me when I was down and twisted me into a million knots.
When I first met her, I thought she was someone I would never see again.
The second time I ran into her, it was a random coincidence.
I didn’t know it at the time, but she was the girl I was going to marry.
But life isn’t always perfect. You have to take the better and the worse–even if it means giving her up, having her slip between your fingers, and letting her walk away.
I’m getting married.
This is forever, ’til death do us part.
The Right Side Of Forever – Release Day August 31
In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish . . .
It sounds so simple, to love someone unconditionally.
To give them your heart.
So why is she slowly eating away at my soul with every unanswered phone call, every unread text, and every door left unopened?
She said yes, and yet, in order for her to be with me . . . I need to let her go.
“Your love will experience its up and down and it will be tested, but remember this: you are each other’s best friend. You are not only in love, but you truly like each other.”
“There is a left side and right side of perfect. The right side of perfect is what society deems worthy of the title. It’s the kind of perfect you believe doesn’t exist, but in others’ eyes, it does. And then there is the left side of perfect, my favorite kind. That’s the kind of soul-bearing perfect, full of flaws and shortcomings. It’s the most beautiful side of perfect…the imperfect.”
“Colby is the once-in-a-lifetime guy. And there are no other men out there like him. Which means I am absolutely screwed. Because not only do I love Colby Brooks, but I’m desperately and hopelessly in love with this man.”
Man oh man! I don’t know about you guys, but after reading and falling in love with the Blue Line Series, I was desperate for Colby to get his own story. I needed him to have a HEA. So, when I heard about The Left Side of Perfect, I just knew I had to get my hands on this book. And let me tell you, it does not disappoint. The Left Side of Perfect picks up right where the Blue Line Series left off and I couldn’t put it down. Colby’s story was everything that I was looking for. It was sweet. It was funny. It put a smile on my face and at times made my heart soar. There were moments that were full of steam and longing and moments where I wanted to chuck my kindle across the room. Yep, this book took my emotions on one thrilling ride.
There isn’t much I can tell you about this book because I don’t want to spoil it for you. Colby’s story demands that you go into it blind and experience his story just as I have. What I can tell you is that Colby’s story is incredibly well written. It will captivate you and intrigue you. It has all the perfect ingredients for an unforgettable love story. From signature humor and angst to romance and longing and some seriously sexy good times this book has it all. As I previously stated, this book took my emotions for one heck of ride and had me holding my breath right until the very end. And whew, that ending…All I’m gonna say is that Meghan Quinn is quickly becoming the cliffhanger queen. She stole my breath and knocked me off my feet. I am so happy that this time there is no wait for book 2, so as soon as I finish typing up this review, I’m going right in…
The Left Side of Perfect is a fantastic read from beginning to end. I hope you’ll pick up Colby’s book and fall head over heels just as I’ve done.
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
