Heather Myles isn’t exactly thrilled to accompany her groupie roommate to an Emerald Phoenix concert. The aspiring screen writer would rather be home with a good book. After Susie pleads with her, though, Heather relents. What the heck? Maybe a change of scenery is just what she needs to combat her desolation over getting turned down by yet another small production company.
After the performance, Jett Draconis, lead singer and guitarist for the band, isn’t up for the party scene. He’s grown tired of being mauled by horny devotees…until an auburn-haired goddess catches his eye. Though she initially rebuffs his advances, he’s determined not to take no for an answer. Sparks erupt between him and Heather, but Jett knows better than to fall in love. A secret from his past could destroy him—and everyone close to him—if he does.
“Baby, all I know is that I was willing to throw myself into a burning fire to get you out of there safely tonight. That has never happened to me.”
“She had gotten inside me somehow. Stirred up emotions I had left dormant far too long. Emotions that would eventually be my undoing.”
Misadventures with a Rock Star is a hot and sinful addition to The Misadventures Series.
Jett is everything you could ask for in a rock star. He was sexy, confident and wasn’t afraid to go after what he wanted. When Jett meets Heather, his world is knocked off its axis. You see, Heather isn’t a groupie and isn’t impressed by the rock star life style. And for a man always used to getting his way, that is a challenge he just can’t seem to walk away from….
Overall, I thought this book was a fun read. It was hot. It was sexy and filled with lots of good times. I think the author did a great job depicting the rock star lifestyle. Jett is the character that you love to hate. He’s arrogant and flirty. But underneath it all is a man who is tired of the status quo and is looking for something more out of life. Meeting Heather was just what he needed. She wasn’t like all the women he was used to. She made him want more and certainly didn’t make things easy for him.
Misadventures with a Rock Star is a sinful read filled with lot of naughtiness, insta love and a rock star that is sure to win your heart. This was a fun book to spend the evening curled up with and I think it was a great addition to this series.
