A captivating new sexy standalone romance by New York Times bestselling author Melissa Foster.

Special Forces veteran and Dark Knights Motorcycle Club member Bullet Whiskey lives to protect his family, their bar, and the residents of his small hometown. He’s rough, unapologetic, and haunted by a secret, painful past. He’s also a master at keeping people away, and when his sister hires gorgeous and sweet Finlay Wilson to help expand their biker bar, he knows just how to get rid of her.

After losing her boyfriend and her father, Finlay moves back to her hometown to be closer to the little family she has left. She needs her temporary job at Whiskey Bro’s to get her catering business off the ground, and she’s determined not to let the gruff, arrogant mountain of a man Bullet Whiskey scare her off.

Finlay is everything Bullet has never wanted. She’s afraid of his dog, afraid of motorcycles, and sweet enough to give him cavities, but as she weaves her way into the hearts of everyone around him, he’s powerless to resist her charms. Passion ignites, but trust doesn’t come easily, and when their pasts collide, Bullet finds out the true meaning of protecting those he loves.

My Review

“I want to get so deep in your personal space you won’t be able to tell where I begin and you end.”

“She was a mighty force of good, pure and kind in ways that made him want to be closer to her, to find a way to be a better man for her.”

“Nothing in my life makes sense, Finlay, but you fucking wreck me.”

“You’re my angel, the salve to my wounds. You’re my other half I never knew was missing.”

From swoon worthy romances to alphas with a heart of gold, there is nothing that author Melissa Foster can’t write. And Driving Whiskey Wild is the latest book of hers to steal my heart and give me all the feels.

I never saw Driving Whiskey Wild coming. This book grabbed a hold of me from the very beginning and held my heart hostage. Bullet is broody, mysterious and has an even tougher exterior. He loves those he lets into his life fiercely, but is haunted by his past. So, when sweeter than sweet Finlay comes into his life, he is determined to get rid of her. Only Finlay is not the kind of woman who is put off easily. She may look sweet on the outside, but isn’t about to let Bullet scare her away. She is the total opposite of Bullet, but wild horses couldn’t keep these two away…

Bullet is the kind of guy you can’t help but be drawn to. His presence makes you just want to know more about him. What makes him tick? Why does he feel the need to keep everyone away? What happened to him? And the more you get to know him, the more you see that he is fiercely protective. When he loves, he loves hard and deep. He is a giant with a heart of gold. And even though he knows he’s got more demons than he knows how to handle and that he should stay away from Finlay, he just can’t. Finlay has the biggest heart and sees the good in everyone. She is the light in the dark and understands the need to hide the scars. She knows she is not the kind of woman that Bullet is used to, but she can’t stay away from him. She has to see where their connection will go. And let me tell you, the tension and chemistry just oozes off the two of them. Their pull is irresistible and will keep you begging for more. I just loved this two together. I enjoyed seeing them grow as a couple and overcome the obstacles along the way.

Driving Whiskey Wild was everything I wanted in a Melissa Foster novel and then some. It was well written and entertaining. I was captivated from page one and just had to devour this book in a single sitting. The characters were real and perfectly flawed. I loved that this book had a touch of darkness to it, but still had the light and family feeling that I have come to know and love from this author. Driving Whiskey Wild had just the right amount of steam, alpha moments and light drama.

I loved getting lost in this book and think that it is a wonderful addition to The Whiskey Series. I can not wait to get my hands on the next book in this series and see who’s heart falls next.

*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
