My 2018 Reading Challenge

Posted on

There is nothing I love more when reading than challenging myself; whether it’s a new genre, author, or checking books off my never ending tbr. Last year, I challenged myself with reading more Historical Romance & Fiction as well as reading at least one book per month that I already own. It was fun. It was hard. It was definitely a challenge. But, I finished and couldn’t be happier!

For 2018’s Reading Challenge, I really wanted to challenge myself and kick my never ending to-read list’s butt!! And I am more than ready for the challenge.

Here is my list for 2018:

Re-read a series
Finish a series that I started
Read a paperback
Read a new to me author
Read the Iron Fey Series
Read a box set of books.
Read a book over 400 pages
Read a book with a lot of angst
A series that’s been on my tbr forever
A stand alone novel
A YA novel
Book chosen for its cover
A novella or serial series
A contemporary series
A NA series
A Dark Romance series
A Paranormal novel or series
Rock Star romance series
An MC novel
A book that will make you ugly cry
A new release
Read a classic
A Fairytale retelling

Read two books per month that I own

So, my question for you is, do you participate in any reading challenges? Do you find them hard to stick with or do you love the challenge? Drop me a comment below and let me know 🙂
