Review: Explicitly Yours by Mika Jolie

The final frontier. The end of dating. The number one cause of divorce.

I bet you every man who is about to take the plunge experiences a wide range of feelings. As a guy, whose wedding day is only seven days away, I know this.

Anxiety—Nerves are kicking in. Yeah, even confident, cocky guys like me are bound to face nuptial stage fright.

Let’s face it, forever is kind of a long time, right?

Excitement—Coriander and I are going to make it official. I’m marrying my best friend, the one I laugh with, live for, dream with.

Nothing can top this moment.

That is until I got the biggest surprise of my life…

***While this book can be read as a standalone, it is highly recommended to read The Boy Friend first to avoid any spoilers.***

My Review

Explicitly Yours is the follow up novella to The Boy Friend. Explicitly Yours is told from dual points of view and is the conclusion that fans have been waiting for. Now, since this book is a novella, I’m going to keep this review short and sweet. I don’t want to spoil anything!

So, what can I tell you about Explicitly Yours? I can tell you that it is the conclusion that fans of Cori and Dean have been waiting for. Follow Cori and Dean as they enter a new chapter in their life. These two love birds couldn’t be happier with the way things turned out. But, leave it to fate to throw a few more surprises their way. Cori and Dean have a love that can withstand any obstacle, so for this little novella, all I’m gonna say is sit back and enjoy the ride….

Explicitly Yours was a super quick read for me. I loved getting to spend a little more time with Cori and Dean and seeing the rest of their story play out.  Their little novella hits all the marks and is just the quick read I was looking for!

*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review*
