Release Blitz with Review: The Bachelor Contract (The Bachelors of Arizona #3) by Rachel Van Dyken

A second-chance romance from the #1 NYT bestseller of The Bet, Matchmaker and Elite series!

She’s everywhere.

Ex-wife.

Love of his life.

The last person in the world he wanted to see…ever.

And now that he’s working beside her every day, he can’t escape her. Her scent, glimpses of her smile, even the tension in the air that makes his body hum with the kind of need he’d only experienced with one person-all of it is driving him over the edge.

Brant Wellington was certain of three things:

Alcohol wasn’t going to solve this.

He really was losing his F-ing mind.

And his gorgeous ex-wife was going to be the death of him.

My Review

“The world had been theirs—until the world turned on them, and they turned on each other. It was so much easier blaming someone else than taking responsibility for your own pain.”

“The eyes are the windows to the soul,” he whispered. “And you’ve always owned mine.”

“I’ll always choose her.” Even when it hurt. Even when he knew it could destroy them all over again. If they couldn’t face their demons four years ago, then what the hell made him think they could face them now? Hope. And the face that he wasn’t going to give up again.

“Words are easy, actions are hard.”

My heart didn’t stand a chance with The Bachelor Contract. The Bachelor Contract is breathtakingly beautiful and incredibly well written. This story will give you the feels and delivers a romance unlike any other….

The Bachelor Contract is one those reads that you know within moments of starting it, that it is just going to destroy you. It is going to hurt and it is going to rip your heart to pieces. Your eyes will be glued to the pages and your mind will be consumed with Brant and Nikki’s story. Their story is hard and fate had been unforgiving. Words were said and hearts were broken. They both have suffered greatly and have spent years dealing with the pain. Only to have fate bring them together again. The journey for these two won’t be an easy one. With bitterness and anger clouding their minds, these two will be in for the fight of their life. Can they forgive? Can they forget? Will they finally be able to move on? Can there be a happily ever after? You’ll just have to read this book for yourself to find out…..

The Bachelor Contract was an incredible read for me from beginning to end. The writing is absolutely flawless and the story-line just steals your heart. I was swept up in this story instantly and could not put it down. I have so many quotes, phrases and paragraphs highlighted. I don’t want to forget a single word, or moment. This book and the characters are so real. Their emotions incredibly palpable. You can’t help but FEEL. The characters are flawed, broken and utterly perfect. The pull is undeniable and the angst just pulls at your heart. And there is hope. Hope that despite how cruel life can be and despite how many demons you may have to fight, there is hope for a happy ending. Hope that true love will conquer everything.

Rachel Van Dyken has knocked it out of the park with this book, delivering another unforgettable and timeless romance. This book broke my heart and put tears in my eyes. It gave me much needed laughs and an undying love and appreciation for Grandma Nadine’s antics–I will never get enough of that woman! I fell in love with the families and their interactions. I believed in second chances and a love that was worth fighting for. I fell head over heels. I swooned and in the end fell helplessly in love.

EXCERPT

It was Brant.

Always Brant.

Maybe that was because they’d never had any real closure. Just fighting, yelling, and then silence.

God, she’d hated the silence so much more than the yelling.

The silence crackled with tension—it was always filled with more meaning than when words were actually spoken.

It wasn’t the yelling that had killed their relationship.

It was the silence that had followed. When he had every opportunity to fix it—and didn’t.

Why was it so hard to move on? Probably because she hadn’t tried.

Instead, she’d worked. Tried to stay positive. And hoped.

Damn hope. Stupid hope.

“He’s not coming back for me,” she whispered, knowing that if she finally admitted he wasn’t coming, she would have to take her part of the blame in why. Because it wasn’t just on him to come running back. A small part of her knew that it was her job to meet him halfway. Instead, she’d ignored the need in his eyes, the desperate plea in his voice, and allowed grief to swallow her whole. Because at the time she’d needed someone to blame, and it was easier blaming him than herself.
