What a thrilling and exciting ride!! When it comes to new books from Alyssa Rose Ivy, I am like a dog with a bone! I’ve got to get my hands on it as quickly as possible. I throw myself into the story that is written and get lost in the characters and their plot line. So, you can only imagine my excitement when I saw the cover & synopsis for Heart of the Wolf…
Heart of the Wolf follows the story of Hope and Carter. For Hope, her life has always been ordinary, but she’s never had any complaints. She enjoys her job and loves her surrogate family. It isn’t until she’s sent to chase down her BFF that her whole world is turned upside down….Carter is a Wolf shifter and is amazing at his job. There is nothing that he can’t do. So, it comes to no surprise that he would be hand picked to carry out a secret and dangerous mission. However, there is one thing he didn’t plan on and that was Hope. Will Carter be able to save the day before its too late? Will Hope be able to handle the new reality that has been thrust upon her? There is only one way to find out…
Heart of the Wolf was a quick and easy read for me. I was hooked on Hope’s story from the very first page and was dying to know more. I loved the mystery and suspense of the story. I really enjoyed the way that the author laid the plot out; keeping me glued to the pages. I thought Hope was incredibly brave and loved that she wasn’t the kind of woman that would back down from the things she wanted in life. I thought Carter was fantastic. Not only was he a total bada** at his job, but he turned out to be one swoon-worthy alpha!
Heart of the Wolf took me on one exciting ride and I’m super excited to see where this series is going to go next!
