My Review

“I can’t think of him right now, or I’ll completely fall apart. I miss him all the time. And yet, here I am, and my mind can’t stop thinking about him no matter how hard I try.”

“They say God doesn’t give a person more than they can handle. I don’t believe that at all anymore. I’m losing it. I can’t handle any more from anyone.”

“Panic is a hard pill to swallow. Regret is even tougher. Every stabbing dagger is full of pain, adding scar after scar across tissue that won’t heal until she comes back to me.”

Come Back to Me is a beautiful second chance romance. Told from dual points of view, Come Back to Me follows the story of Blake and Adriana. Life has thrown many difficult cards at Adriana. She had dealt with more pain than anyone should have to deal with it. After the loss of her grandmother, she doesn’t know how much more she can take. And there is one loss that haunts her day after day…the loss of her husband. They were supposed to have the most amazing life together, and then one day that life was just ripped away…Blake loved his wife more than anything. The love they shared was intense and one for the books. Leaving Adriana was the worst and toughest thing that Blake has ever had to do. He prays every day that he will have the courage to come and take his life back…..

Come Back to Me was a quick and easy read for more. My heart went out to Adriana and all that she has had to experience. They say loss shapes you, but it can also destroy you. Adriana had experienced so much loss in her life and I couldn’t help but want her to find that happiness that she desperately needed and deserved. And Blake…His decision to leave was not an easy one. He regretted it from the moment that it happened. I appreciated his drive and determination. His love for Adriana stronger than ever. You can tell how deeply he loved his wife and just how sorry he was. I appreciated that he fought for her forgiveness when it came to trying to win her back.

Overall, I thought this book was a really enjoyable read. It is a story about loss and finding the strength to deal with what life throws at you. It is a story of betrayal and forgiveness. It is a story about hope in the most unlikely of situations. It is a story about love and taking a second chance when life gives you one. And I enjoyed every second of it.
