Review: Infini (Aerial Ethereal) by Krista & Becca Ritchie

infini

Some love is infinite

“Don’t have a best friend that’s a girl” — this was the advice from my older cousin. I didn’t take it. Because he followed with, “friends don’t f*ck friends. And you’ll want to f*ck her.”

It was terrible advice.

My cousin should’ve told me that being best friends with Baylee Wright — since she was twelve — would be the best and worst decision of my life.

He should have told me to protect her from what was coming.

He should have told me that when a darkness crawled towards us, there’d be no safety net.

Now I’ve signed back on to the same Vegas acrobatic show as Baylee, working together for the first time in years. And she tells me that she’s having trouble in a certain “area” of her life — because of our past.

“You can help me fix it,” she says.

And then she hands me a list.

Recommended for readers 18+ for mature content.

Luka Kotova is introduced in Amour Amour, and Infini takes place in the same acrobatic world. However, it’s not necessary to read Amour Amour prior to Infini

My Review

“I will always wonder if we chose wrong. If we chose right. I will always return to today and contemplate my one choice. I already feel it tormenting me. And suddenly, I think….I wish we weren’t given a choice at all.”

“Our lives have been circling back to one another. To these moments. Not temporary like the throw of a boomerang. Not flashy enough to be fireworks, but we’re something subtle–yet bigger. Greater. Infinite.”

“I love him beyond recognition. Beyond perception. I love him so fully that it hurts.”

“It can’t disappear. It’s already invisible, unseen. Something we feel. We’ll never lose this. It burrows into us like an endless light.”

Infini is the novel I have been holding my breath for, the novel I have been impatiently waiting for. I fell in love with the Kotova Family when I read Amour Amour and have been desperately wanting to read more. I needed more from these characters and the world that Krista & Becca Ritchie created. And let me tell you, this duo does not disappoint. They made the wait so worth it and then some.

Infini follows the story of Luka and Baylee. Luka and Baylee were the best of friends and their friendship turned into something unforgettable. But, one mistake will tear these two young lovers apart, destroying both of them. It will be many years before our two young friends are reunited. The years apart have changed the both of them, but beneath it all, they are still the same. They’re still fighting for the things that they want and are battling their own personal demons.

Now, there’s not much I can say because I don’t want to give anything away. What I will say is that Inifini is an incredible read. Luka and Baylee’s story will take you on one amazing journey. Their stories and past is not easy. They will have many obstacles to overcome and some very real situations to deal with. Their story will deal with some very heavy topics, but I promise you, their journey is completely worth it.

Infini is not just a love story, but it’s a story of family and the ties that bind us. It is about making tough decisions and having to live with the outcome. It is a story about hope and second chances. I loved every minute of this story, from beginning to end. I could not get enough of the characters and their story. I easily got lost in the world that Krista & Becca Ritchie created. In the end, all that is left to say is that I just loved this book. Fans of this series, Infini was so worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.
