My Review

“No matter how hard I tried, or how much time passed, there was a hole inside me; a piece was missing, gaping open, edges ragged, and I hadn’t a clue how to fill it. I tried. I tried so fucking hard. And still, the pain beat inside my chest, my future a yawning void without the one thing I’d built my life around.”

“This was everything. The dream. Coming home to the woman you loved after going to war. Maybe it didn’t look exactly how I imagined it, but it was enough.”

I have been a fan of The Wild Aces series ever since I picked up the first book. With each story and each character, I have fallen that much more in love. Now, as a fan of this series, I have to tell you, Easy’s story has been one of my most anticipated reads. If you’ve read the other books, then you know why I’ve been dying for his story….

Easy is a guy’s guy. He’s got no shortage of women and could have anything he wants, but the one thing he wants is a woman that he can’t have. The love that Easy has for this woman, has pulled at my heart since Into The Blue. I can not even begin to imagine how it must feel to want someone so bad, but know in your heart of hearts, that it just can’t happen. So, my hope for On Broken Wings was that Easy would not only get to tell his story, but that Easy could finally have the love that he deserves.

What I can tell you about On Broken Wings is be prepared for one heck of an emotional ride. Easy and Dani’s story is incredibly emotional story that will having you feeling all of the things. Their story is not an easy one and in fact both characters have to do a lot of soul searching along the way. There is so much guilt, but hope for happiness. You can not help but root for these two characters because I am telling you, if ever there were two characters that deserved a HEA, it is these two.

On Broken Wings was an enjoyable read from beginning to end. I loved finally getting to read Easy’s story. Easy’s story was everything that I wanted and hoped for and was a fantastic addition to The Wild Aces Series.
