Crown of Lies by Pepper Winters is LIVE!!

It’s LIVE!

Crown of lies–from New York Times Bestseller, Pepper Winters, comes a delicious sinful hero.

Start Reading:

“I met the man I wanted. But then he vanished, and a new man claimed me instead. My father approved, my colleagues congratulated, and behind closed doors, I was bedded by a stranger.”

Noelle Charlston lives a fairy-tale life: a doting father, a powerful job, and a future blessed with financial security.

However, two meetings with two men changes her happy existence forever. First, she meets the man who makes her heart sing. Three years later, she meets the man who makes her blood quiver.

Broken-hearted from a teenage romance, Noelle’s freedom is no longer hers. It belongs to the stranger her father believes is her perfect match. The stranger who pulls his lies over everyone he touches.

Including her.

Seduced and manipulated, Noelle gives into the mysterious Penn Everett. The lies he spins, the truth he hides, the mystery he weaves—it’s all enough to slowly erode the woman she is and turn her into something else.

Until her past collides with her present.

And it’s her turn to lie.

To everyone…including herself.

Pucked Off by Helena Hunting
Publication Date: February 21st, 2017
Genre: Contemporary Romance

***A Standalone novel in The Pucked Series***

I’m NHL defenseman Lance Romero, AKA Lance “Romance.”

I’m notorious for parties and excess. I have the most penalty minutes in the league. I get into the most fights. I take the most hits. I’m a player on and off the ice. I’m the one women with no inhibitions want.

Not because I like the notoriety, but because I don’t know how to be any other way.

I have secrets. Ones I shared with the wrong person, and she used them against me. Sometimes she still does. I should cut ties. But she makes it difficult, because she’s the kind of bad I deserve.

At least that’s what I believed until someone from my past gets caught up in my present. She’s all the good things in this world. She lights up my dark.

I shouldn’t want her.

But I do.

I should leave her alone.

But I won’t.

Blog Tour with Excerpt: Ruthless by Gina Maxwell

Today we have the blog tour for Ruthless by Gina Maxwell! Check out this fantastic sexy romance and grab your copy now!

About Ruthless:

People call me Ruthless for a reason.

Whether I’m in the court room or in the bedroom, my reputation is well-earned. I’m either working hard, working out, or working my way into some woman’s panties. But none of them share my particular kink, and I walk away feeling unsatisfied.

Until I met her.

She’s a friend of a friend, which makes her off-limits in my book. But then temptation had me by the balls and I had her up against a wall. She literally fucked my world off its axis, but it can’t happen again.

My plan was avoidance, but that got blown to shit when my firm hired her as a new junior attorney. Now I’m her boss, and I’m supposed to act like I don’t want to bend her over my desk every five minutes.

But I’ve never held myself back with anything before, so consequences be damned. It’s time to take what I want and show her how damn good it feels…to be ruthless.

“Last night you told me you were mine to command.” His voice is deep and smoky, slipping from corporate boss into bedroom boss, and it does things to me I don’t have words for. “Is that still the case, Addison?”

Review: Beautiful Assassin (Syndicate #1) by Skyla Madi

Spoiler alert.

I fall in love with the man who comes in the night.
He watches me down the scope of his rifle and it’s terrifying, and exhilarating, not knowing when he’ll squeeze the trigger. If he’ll squeeze the trigger.

Maybe I’ll die tonight…

…maybe I’ll die next week.

It’s a sick and twisted game, but it’s ours. And just when I think our story ends at a distance, he comes in close, thrusting himself into my life.
We are at war, him and me, and eventually, he’ll have to kill me.
If he doesn’t, someone else will.

My Review

What a thrilling and exciting read!!

Beautiful Assassin is one of those books that just grips you from the first page and captivates you the entire time. When we first meet up with Cammie, we see just how unhappy she is with her life. She is struggling just to get through the day. She is in an impossible situation with no clear way out. All she wants is to live a normal life and to have freedom. But, that reality will never be hers. She is destined to be married to a man she doesn’t love…Stefan is a trained killer. He never misses his target and gets a thrill out of what he does. But, when his next hit is the lovely Cammie, everything goes out the window. He knows he has to kill her, but can not resist the pull that he feels. His hit on Cammie will become the most dangerous game of cat and mouse…

Beautiful Assassin was a fantastic read. I devoured it in just one sitting. I loved how dark and twisted the story was. I easily got lost in Cammie’s story and could not for the life of me, put this book down. I was captivated, and entranced. I couldn’t read the pages fast enough. This story thrilled and intrigued me. I was constantly on the edge of my seat, wondering what would happen next. Beautiful Assassin was everything that you could want and need from a mob style book. There was danger, mystery, action, suspense, sex and intrigue. It. Had. It. All. I don’t know if there will be another book in this series, but I’m hoping there will be because I’d definitely love to read more from this world and these characters!

Review: Lit Fuse (Nashville’s Finest 0.5) by Caisey Quinn

When Chase Fisk enrolled in the United States Army, it was mostly to escape a dead- end job working with his alcoholic father. The military provided him with a sense of belonging, and his brothers in arms became the family he never thought he’d have. He’s ready to embrace his promotion to Commanding Officer over a group of new explosive tech recruits—but he isn’t ready for her.

Vivian Brooks grew up in a military family and is unlike any woman Chase has ever met. The recently enlisted recruit is beautiful, tenacious, and as steady with her hands as any EOD technician he’s ever seen. She tempts him in every way possible, challenging him at all turns and taunting him with a body that haunts his waking moments and most of his sleeping ones. But as their forbidden romance could threaten their careers if it’s discovered, Vivian’s buried secrets threaten to destroy them both.

My Review

I don’t know about you guys, but I have been dying for something new from Caisey Quinn, and I gotta tell you, I couldn’t be more excited for her new series, Nashville’s Finest. The first book in its series, Lit Fuse, might be a novella, but boy does this story ever pack a punch. It sets the scene and introduces us to Chase and Vivian. The connection from with these two was instant and intense. I loved the forbidden quality to their relationship and seeing them deal with their feelings despite their circumstances.

Lit Fuse is a fast paced and exciting read. It was hot, sexy, and super entertaining. I devoured this novella in just under two hours. I was hooked on the characters and their story. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next and I really enjoyed the twists along the way. And the ending…boy does it leave you begging and dying for more. I can not wait to get my hands on the next book in this series and see how everything is going to play out for Chase and Vivian.

My Review

“I’m not letting you go. I’ve only just found you.”

“For the briefest second, he wasn’t some rich tycoon about to strip and devour me but a sweet seducer drowning beneath his own untruths. That was the problem with being guarded. People with lies could never make friends. But people with trust cold never make enemies. Both were weak.”

“Lust wasn’t just a word; it was an axe that cut off all chains of propriety. It was the gun that shot common-sense dead. Lust was a kidnapper and killer all in one.”

“Give in, Elle. You’re mine.” “You know it. I fucking know it. So let me fucking claim you.”

One of the things I love so much about a Pepper Winters book, is that I never know what to expect. She pushes all of my boundaries and provides me with the most unexpected love stories. Stories that suck me, captivate me and leave me utterly breathless.

Crown of Lies was a thrilling and exciting read. I am at a total loss for words, in the absolute best way. This story is incredibly well written and fascinating. It will take you on an intense and seductive journey. Crown of Lies will leave you breathless and on the edge of your seat. Your mind will searching and begging for answers. Your heart will be begging for the truth and a happy ending. However, if you’re like me and a fan of Pepper Winters work, than you know that the road to happily ever after isn’t going to be an easy one. Our characters are going to have to fight for their love. They are going to endure impossible situations and mind-blowing twists. But, in the end, it will be 100% totally worth it.

Now, I know I haven’t told you much about Crown of Lies and that is because you honestly need to experience this book for yourself. I am at a loss for words, because I have never experienced a Pepper Winters book quite like this. It was everything and more. It was thrilling, brilliant, and sexy. It was seductive and left me with a million questions that I am desperate for the answers to. This story is so fresh and exciting and I honestly can not wait to get my hands on the conclusion. I just know it’s going to be epic.

Review: Infini (Aerial Ethereal) by Krista & Becca Ritchie

Some love is infinite

“Don’t have a best friend that’s a girl” — this was the advice from my older cousin. I didn’t take it. Because he followed with, “friends don’t f*ck friends. And you’ll want to f*ck her.”

It was terrible advice.

My cousin should’ve told me that being best friends with Baylee Wright — since she was twelve — would be the best and worst decision of my life.

He should have told me to protect her from what was coming.

He should have told me that when a darkness crawled towards us, there’d be no safety net.

Now I’ve signed back on to the same Vegas acrobatic show as Baylee, working together for the first time in years. And she tells me that she’s having trouble in a certain “area” of her life — because of our past.

“You can help me fix it,” she says.

And then she hands me a list.

Recommended for readers 18+ for mature content.

Luka Kotova is introduced in Amour Amour, and Infini takes place in the same acrobatic world. However, it’s not necessary to read Amour Amour prior to Infini

My Review

“I will always wonder if we chose wrong. If we chose right. I will always return to today and contemplate my one choice. I already feel it tormenting me. And suddenly, I think….I wish we weren’t given a choice at all.”

“Our lives have been circling back to one another. To these moments. Not temporary like the throw of a boomerang. Not flashy enough to be fireworks, but we’re something subtle–yet bigger. Greater. Infinite.”

“I love him beyond recognition. Beyond perception. I love him so fully that it hurts.”

“It can’t disappear. It’s already invisible, unseen. Something we feel. We’ll never lose this. It burrows into us like an endless light.”

Infini is the novel I have been holding my breath for, the novel I have been impatiently waiting for. I fell in love with the Kotova Family when I read Amour Amour and have been desperately wanting to read more. I needed more from these characters and the world that Krista & Becca Ritchie created. And let me tell you, this duo does not disappoint. They made the wait so worth it and then some.

Infini follows the story of Luka and Baylee. Luka and Baylee were the best of friends and their friendship turned into something unforgettable. But, one mistake will tear these two young lovers apart, destroying both of them. It will be many years before our two young friends are reunited. The years apart have changed the both of them, but beneath it all, they are still the same. They’re still fighting for the things that they want and are battling their own personal demons.

Now, there’s not much I can say because I don’t want to give anything away. What I will say is that Inifini is an incredible read. Luka and Baylee’s story will take you on one amazing journey. Their stories and past is not easy. They will have many obstacles to overcome and some very real situations to deal with. Their story will deal with some very heavy topics, but I promise you, their journey is completely worth it.

Infini is not just a love story, but it’s a story of family and the ties that bind us. It is about making tough decisions and having to live with the outcome. It is a story about hope and second chances. I loved every minute of this story, from beginning to end. I could not get enough of the characters and their story. I easily got lost in the world that Krista & Becca Ritchie created. In the end, all that is left to say is that I just loved this book. Fans of this series, Infini was so worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.
