Review: Dare Me (Dare Me #1) by Rebecca Shea

dareme

Five coworkers.
Four drinks.
Three glances.
Two fleeting smiles.
One dare.

A dare that will change my life.

That’s all it takes to send me plummeting into the arms of the mysterious Holt Hamilton. Behind his crystal blue eyes is a secret, one that screams danger but calls to me anyway.

My name is Saige Phillips.

I never walk away from a dare.

My Review

“I want her to need me as much as I need her. I need her to want me as much as I want her. I want her to love me as much as I love her.”

You know, I’m gonna be honest with you, when I picked up this book, I really wasn’t sure what to expect. But, I couldn’t help but be intrigued by the synopsis of this story. So, I decided to pick it up and give it a chance. And I have to tell you, I am so glad that I did. This book was absolutely nothing like I thought it was going to be. This story was sexy and intriguing. It had an air of mystery to it that had me wanting to know more. I will warn you, this story does deal with some intense subject matter. But, I will say, the author did a really good job with it.

Dare Me pulled me in from the very first page and captivated me the entire time. Dare Me is heartbreaking, but at the same time is an unforgettable love story. I fell in love with the characters instantly and could not read the pages fast enough. This book had it all for me. There was angst. There was drama. There was intensity. There were delicious sexy good times. There was humor and entertaining moments. Overall, this was a really enjoyable read for me and I’m super glad that I decided to check it out.
