There’s no way I’ll fall for Wyatt Hennington.
He can keep his Southern drawl, irresistible smile, and those pick up lines all to himself. It’s bad enough that I made the mistake of sleeping with him once. It will never happen again. I don’t want nor need some cowboy complicating my life.
But I don’t always get what I want.
Whether I like it or not, our lives are intertwined. Trying to keep him out of my heart is futile. He’ll find every loophole and embed himself there.
The problem is—I don’t know if he even loves me. And when the ground crumbles beneath us and our world shatters, I’ll finally know if he truly wants me or if we are only fooling ourselves . . .
“She lit me up and then left me burning.”
“This isn’t a cease fire. This is a surrender. I’m waving the white flag.”
“Wyatt brings bold colors to a world where I was only seeing muted tones.”
I honestly think that it is Corinne Michaels mission in life to leave me speechless, because that’s what she has done. Ever since I picked up her debut novel, Beloved, she has left me speechless. It doesn’t matter the book or the subject matter, each story she writes is filled with so much and so much heart. And her latest release Say You Want Me, has once again captured my heart.
Say You’ll Want Me is told from dual points of view and follows the story of Wyatt and Angie. This book can be read as a stand-alone novel, however if you’ve read Say You’ll Stay like I have then you will know that Wyatt is Zach’s brother, and hopefully you will have been dying for Wyatt’s story as much as I have.
Say You Want Me is beautifully written and captivating. I loved getting Angie’s story and seeing her fall in love with Wyatt. Angie was so darn stubborn and in love with her big city life. She never saw Wyatt coming and when fate brings the two of them back together, they are embark on one unforgettable journey.
Wyatt…I could not help but fall in love with that man from the very beginning. I mean, he is just the best book boyfriend. He’s flawed in his own ways, but when this man loves, he loves with everything that he has. Wyatt is a good man, with a good heart who always does the right thing. He is 100% swoon worthy and the alpha male tendencies don’t hurt either. One of the things that I really appreciated about Wyatt was how real he was. He made the best out of the cards he was dealt and wasn’t about to let love slip away. Sure he made some bonehead mistakes along the way, but what man hasn’t messed up. I can tell you one thing for sure, when this man finally gets his head out of his ass, he more than redeems himself.
Say You Want me was everything I wanted from Corrine Michaels and then some. I haven’t met a Corrine Michaels novel that I haven’t loved yet, and I honestly hope that it stays that way. Say You Want me is an amazing second chance romance. It made me laugh. It had me shaking my head in frustration. It had me swooning and falling in love. I enjoyed every moment of this book and can not wait to see what this author has in store for us next.
