Wedding Planner in The Wedding Belles, a contemporary and witty
romance series about three high-powered New York City women who can plan any
wedding—but their own.
Morgan has spent the past six years devoted to turning her tiny start-up into
Manhattan’s premiere wedding planning company, The Wedding Belles. Now that her
business is thriving, it’s time to turn towards her much neglected personal
life, and Alexis approaches her relationships like she does everything else:
with a plan. Not a part of that plan is Logan Harris, the
silent partner in the Belles, and the one person who’s been there for her since
the very beginning. But Alexis needs someone fun, and Logan’s all business, all
the time—except when a late night at the office ends with an unexpected kiss
that leaves the usually cool and together Alexis reeling.
has lusted after Alexis since the day he walked into the tiny Harlem apartment
that used to double as her office. But the ambitious wedding planner has always
been untouchable…until now. Alexis has made it clear that she’s on the dating
market—and equally clear that he’s not in the running. But when Alexis finds
herself in need of a date for her sister’s last minute wedding in Florida,
Logan knows it’s the perfect time to show Alexis that there’s more to him than
numbers and spreadsheets—and beneath the pinstripes and glasses lies a hot-blooded
heartthrob. As Florida’s sultry days turn into even hotter nights, Logan’s out
to convince Alexis that the fling of a lifetime could just maybe turn into
“As he closed the door he made her a silent promise. This wasn’t over. Not by a long shot.”
“Love did this, she realized. It made you weak and clumsy and babbling and…Alive.”
Finally! Finally! Finally, we are getting Alexis and Logan’s story and let me tell you, I am so excited that their story is being told. I have been waiting and waiting. The chemistry between these two has been intense for the last few books, so yes, I am excited that their day has finally come….
To Love and To Cherish is the third book in the Wedding Belles series, and while it can be read as a standalone, I do feel that this series would be better enjoyed if you read them together. That being said, I don’t think you’d be lost at all if this was the first in the series that you’ve read, again, I’m just saying that it would be more enjoyable to read this series in order. Anyways, To Love and To Cherish is told from dual points of view and is the much anticipated story of Alexis and Logan. Alexis and Logan have known one another for 8 years. In fact, Logan is one of Alexis’ business partners. Logan has always been enchanted with Alexis, but Alexis has always been so focused on her business that she’s been blind to what’s always been in front of her. Now, when circumstances open Alexis’ eyes and make her want to join the dating world, Logan finally makes his move. Will Logan and Alexis finally give in to the chemistry that has been burning between them or are they destined to just be friends??
I loved everything about To Love and To Cherish. I was sucked in from page one and was dying to know more about Alexis and Logan. Their story captivated me and it frustrated me. So many times I wanted to yell at Alexis to open her eyes before it’s too late! And Logan!!! He was impossible to not fall in love with. He was the total package, a real gentleman, and the accent didn’t hurt either. But, there’s a side to him that we’ve never seen before that only Alexis brings out. She brings out the swoon worthy, take charge, alpha male that has been in hiding. Yes, the two of them were amazing together and I honestly couldn’t get enough of them. The sparks were intense and Alexis and Logan together had me begging for more.
As as sad as I am to be seeing this series come to an end, I honestly couldn’t think of it ending any other way. This book and series is incredibly well written and you can tell a lot of heart and soul went into it. I have been enchanted with this series since the very first book and have just fallen deeper in love with each corresponding story. To Love and To Cherish gave me everything I was looking for and left me with a big smile on my face. Simply put, I loved this story.
