Review: His Best Mistake (Shillings Agency #6) by Diane Alberts

Posted on

One night with a stranger…

Security expert Mark Matthews has loved, and lost, and has no intention of ever loving again—especially not a woman who thrives on her life being in danger. Now, hot, meaningless sex with strangers he had no intention of ever seeing again? That’s a whole other story. And it’s all life as a single father allows him to enjoy. But when he meets a woman who refuses to tell him her real name, the game is on, because she’s everything he swore to stay away from. Daisy O’Rourke has bad idea written all over her, but he’s in too deep to walk away now…

My Review

Sometimes the biggest mistakes can turn out to be the very best ones. And this book proves that statement to be just right! His Biggest Mistake is the sixth installment of The Shillings Agency, but it can totally be read as a stand-alone.

His Biggest Mistake is a quick and sexy read. It is fast paced, but don’t let that fool you. At 178 pages, this story packs a punch and does not disappoint. This story has it all. You’ve got fantastic characters with amazing chemistry that just has you begging for more. You have an amazing story-line that just pulls at your heart and has you believing in second chances. There is sex, romance, drama and of course, a little bit of angst. I’m telling you, this book has it all.

His Biggest Mistake is a fantastic read from beginning to end. I finished this book in just a few short hours and devoured every single page. His Biggest Mistake is a fantastic addition to this series and I can not wait to see where Diane Alberts will take us next.

*I was provided an ARC copy of this book via the publisher and NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review*
