Review: Stripped Bare by Emma Hart

Posted on

strippedbare

When unlucky in love Mia O’Halloran finds herself face to Sex God V-Lines with a chiseled, hot male stripper in possession of a package not even the postal service could lose, what happens in Vegas is definitely supposed to stay in Vegas.
She doesn’t expect to find Mr. Multiple Oh-Oh-Oh as her client—and hell, how is she supposed to pitch a marketing plan when she can remember how easily he briefed her g-spot on an orgasm… or five?
West Rykman has one rule: you don’t mix business with pleasure. They can look, but unless they’re shoving a dollar inside his pants, they can’t touch. He learned that lesson the hard way two years ago.
He had no idea the flame-haired vixen with a penchant for hot, kinky sex and a mouth that would make a hooker cry would be the one to bend—and break—his rule.
She’s sworn off men after ten too many heartbreaks.
He’s determined he’ll never lose it all for a woman again.
She’s pretty screwed.
He’s really screwed.
And not in the we’re-not-sleeping-tonight way…

My Review

“All I saw was a blue sea of mingled emotions, from hesitance to desire to amusement, and maybe I was crazy, but I wanted to swim in it. I wanted to drown in his eyes.”

“He did own me. West Rykman owned my body, and he owned it entirely. It was almost as if he’d cast a spell over me that meant I couldn’t fight him, that I had to surrender, because when it came to his touch, there was no reasoning with myself. I craved it. I craved the sensation of his skin against mine. Craved the way I felt when he ran his hands up my sides. When he kissed me. When he dragged his mouth over my neck. When his lips brushed my ear when he whispered dirty things to me. More dangerously, I craved him.”

I honestly don’t know how Emma Hart does it. I mean, she continuously blows me away. Each book of hers that I read just keeps getting better and better. And Stripped Bare totally blew my mind.

Now, when I first heard about Stripped Bare, I was warned that this was going to be Emma Hart’s sexiest book to date, and boy were they right about that. Stripped Bare is hot. It is sexy. It is down right sinful.

From the moment you pick up Stripped Bare, you are sucked into Mia and West’s story. Not only is it entertaining as hell, but the story-line is so fun and so refreshing. You can’t help but fall in love with our main characters instantly. Mia is so easy to relate to. She’s a fantastic friend, but doesn’t have a lot of luck in the romance department, so the last thing she was looking for was West. West totally threw her off of her game and turned her world upside down. The moment these two meet, you can just feel the chemistry and tension oozing off the two of them. Their connection is so strong and so palpable, even when they try to fight it, their connection is one that refuses to be denied. And West….West is off the charts. He is a 100% dirty talking, alpha male. Now, he’s burned in the past before and has let his past dictate his life…that is until Mia enters the picture. From the moment he lays eyes on Mia, he just knows that he’s got to make her his. He will stop at nothing until she opens her eyes and sees just how amazing the two of them can be together….

What can I tell you about Stripped Bare? Well, if you are a fan of alpha males, sinfully sexy stories that are both fun and entertaining, then look no further, Stripped Bare is a must read for you. Not only is this book scorching hot, but it’s incredibly well written. It’s got a lot of heart. The characters are very easy to relate to. This story is going to make you laugh. It is going to make you swoon. It is so deliciously sexy that you may need a fan to help cool yourself down. And in the end, this story is going to make you fall in love and take a chance on romance.

Stripped Bare is an exciting new read from Emma Hart. I loved every second of this book, from start to finish and just can not say enough about it. I just loved it and can not wait for more. I would definitely recommend checking this book out!
