everywhere and everyway

Hot on the heels of her beloved Marriage to a Billionaire novels,New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst nails it with the first in an all-new sexy romance series featuring red-hot contractor siblings who give the Property Brothers a run for their money!

Ever the responsible eldest brother, Caleb Pierce started working for his father’s luxury contracting business at a young age, dreaming of one day sitting in the boss’s chair. But his father’s will throws a wrench in his plans by stipulating that Caleb share control of the family business with his two estranged brothers.

Things only get more complicated when demanding high-end home designer Morgan hires Caleb to build her a customized dream house that matches her specifications to a T—or she’ll use her powerful connections to poison the Pierce brothers’ reputation. Not one to ignore a challenge, Caleb vows to get the job done—if only he can stop getting distracted by his new client’s perfect…amenities.

But there’s more to icy Morgan than meets the eye. And Caleb’s not the only one who knows how to use a stud-finder. In fact, Morgan is pretty sure she’s found hers—and he looks quite enticing in a hard hat. As sparks fly between Morgan and Caleb despite his best intentions not to mix business and pleasure, will she finally warm up and help him lay the foundation for everlasting love?

My Review

“Looking back, it wasn’t the kind of love that could last. It wasn’t the real kind.” “What’s the real kind?” “I don’t know. I guess the kind that grows as you age. The kind that can handle daily stress, and kids, and work schedules….”

“You’re not a failure, because you took a chance. Because you tried to create something a person would love, instead of some pretty objects on a shelf an onlooker would admire. You found yourself where you were building that house, Morgan, and you found me with it.”

Everywhere and Every Way is the first novel in an exciting news series by Jennifer Probst. Everywhere and Every Way is told from dual points of view and follows the story of Morgan and Caleb. Caleb has worked hard to achieve his dream of running the family company. He’s put up with unreasonable clients and unrealistic expectations from his father. So, when his father passes suddenly, Caleb is excited to finally claim the family business. Only his father couldn’t make things easy. Nope. His father’s will made it that he had to share the business with his estranged brothers and not only must they work together, but they must live together for one year and turn a profit. If they don’t reach the outrageous goal that his father has set, then they will loose everything….. Morgan is at the top of her game and making a name for herself as an interior designer. So, it comes as a no brainer for her to hire Caleb for her next project. However, Caleb isn’t making it easy for Morgan, so Morgan has pull out all the stops to get Caleb to work with her… Sparks ignite when Morgan and Caleb start working together. Will Caleb reach his goal and save his family business? Can Caleb survive living with his brothers after all this time has passed? Will Caleb and Morgan find a Happily Ever After? You’ll just have to read for yourself to find out…

Everywhere and Every Way was a quick and easy read for me. I really enjoyed the plot of this story. I thought it was well written and I found the property brother style idea to be fun and refreshing. I loved the family conflict and couldn’t wait to see how the story would work out; if the brothers could find a common ground without trying to kill one another. I thought Caleb and Morgan were great together. I really liked the push and pull that they had. I thought Morgan really challenged Caleb and that made all the will they/won’t they, almost moments worth it.

My only issue was the pacing. I did feel that it wasn’t quiet cohesive. It started off really well and then there would be moments where the pacing would slow down and drag a bit, and then pick right back up. Now, this might not be an issue for everyone, but it is something that stood out for me.

Overall, I think this series is off to a really good start. The story-line and characters are fun and intriguing and keep you wanting more. This story had just the right mix of romance and drama and I can’t wait to see where this series will go next.
