My Review

“If I want us to work, I need to be all in with him. Because trust isn’t earned standing at the shoreline of the ocean. Trust is earned when you throw yourself into the darkest depths of the water. There, you are the most vulnerable to all of your insecurities, imperfections and forgotten secrets. It’s all or nothing. There is no in between when it comes to trust. And after all that I’ve been through, this is the one man I want to hold onto my heart. It amazes me how fate an take two bruised souls and ignite a passion so powerful it takes the pain away.”

What a crazy, crazy, emotional ride. Due to the subject matter of An Unforgivable Love Story, this is either going to be one of those books that you’re either going to love or you’re going to hate. And while, I normally avoid books that deal with this subject matter, I have to say, this is a really good story.

An Unforgivable Love Story is refreshing, unique and definitely not your typical love story. An Unforgivable Love Story starts off as your typical romance: Girl meets boy. Girl is afraid of serious relationship because of past hurt. Girl falls for boy. But, as I said, this story is anything but your typical love story…..

As An Unforgivable Love Story started to unravel, I had a pretty good idea as to where it was going. But, I wasn’t 100% sure of my suspicions until I got to part 2. You see this book is broken into 4 parts. Part one is the intro, the beginning of the romance. Part two is where everything starts to come together. A new pov is introduced and lets just say, I wanted to throw my kindle too many times to count in part 2. Part 3, brings you back to the main story-line and part 4 is the ending. And even though I had an idea what was going on, I still really enjoyed watching everything unfold.

An Unforgivable Love Story is just that. The subject matter is difficult and the characters are very real. The story is heartbreaking. It is frustrating. It will make you swoon and It will anger you. This story will suck you in and captivate you. It is filled with twists; lots of delicious twists. You will be left reeling and unable to put the story down. You will find yourself reading as fast as you can, just so you can see how everything will play out. At the end of the day, all I can say is “What a crazy ride”.

*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review.*
