2 5-star reads for me this year would be Hard To Let Go by Laura Kaye and Asa by Jay Crownover. They were both the final books in great series. I thought Laura Kaye’s Hard Ink was brilliant and the final installment lived up to the rest of the series and ended in a way that left me so emotional and ready to give Laura Kaye a standing ovation. The amount of detail she put into the wraparound story and her vivid characterizations (and heat in the sexy times!) was exceptional.

Of course I love Penny’s writing style and sense of humor. Otherwise, I’ve enjoyed The Virgin Romance Novelist by Meghan Quinn, Four Play by Amalie Silver, Kyland by Mia Sheridan, Sweet by Tammara Webber, Marrow by Tarryn Fisher, and The Choosing by Rachelle Dekker. I also read and loved Jay Crownover’s entire Marked Men series this year.
Thanks!
