My Review

I love, love, loved this book! Another amazing hit by Sawyer Bennett!!

Shaken, Not Stirred follows the story of Casey and Tenn. Casey is not the relationship type girl. In fact, some may even call her a man-eater. This is all thanks to her first love screwing her over. Now, she seeks out a specific type of man, making them want her and then she just throws them away like yesterdays trash. However, she’s now finding herself in a rut. She’s starting to question if this is how she really wants to spend her life, especially once she meets Tenn…..At first glance, Tenn Jennings, is the exact opposite from what Casey usually goes for. He has this total bad boy biker thing going for him. One night is all it took for him. He sees so much more in Casey and is determined to prove her wrong about her opinions on men. The more time they spend together, the more Casey’s walls start to crumble. Has Casey finally met her match? Will she finally let a man get close to her heart or is she doomed to live a life of a man-eater??

I have to say that I was so excited that Casey was finally getting her own book. I have been so curious about her for the longest time now. She’s strong, independent, and isn’t afraid of going after what she wants in life. I was just dying to get to know her and what made her the way that she is. My heart broke for her when I found out exactly what happened to her and I wanted to shake the guy who broke her. I was so happy when Tenn came into the future. He is a total alpha male. Not only does he have the dirty talking down, but he was also a cowboy and biker….Do i need to say more?? But there is so much more to him than that. He’s a father to this amazing 14yr old girl and he’s also been burned by love. Only now, he found something in Casey that was worth fighting for. I absolutely loved watching their relationship develop and grow and had the biggest smile on my face when both their walls came down.

Shaken, Not Stirred was a fantastic addition to The Last Call Series. It was well written and completely captivating. The characters are real and perfectly flawed. Sawyer Bennett does not disappoint. She deliverers a fantastic story with the perfect amount of angst, romance, and steam. Yes, this book delivers on the steam and has you swooning in all the right places. Let me just say, if you are a fan of Sawyer Bennett’s, you will not be disappointed. I know I wasn’t.
